Hello... I am applying for September intake 2021 and I would like to know if I need to apply pre sectional English course first or apply the degree and then join the PSEC later (after being accepted or being contacted by the university), since I do not currently have valid English Language Qualification (I have Diploma in TESOL but don’t think it will be counted like IELTS or TOFL) and I do not have enough time to prepare and take IELTS... If someone knows, please 🙏

Is the uni good for nursing?... Is it better than university of the West of England(uwe)?

My applicant day at Plymouth uni was nothing like that haha, we went to a chill environmental science talk and then we just went to the sustainability hub to ask questions and talk to the some of the profs and that was it lol, but I did have a similar experience to you at the UWE uni in Bristol where they split us up from our parents but there was presentation luckily, we just talked and asked questions as a group.

Thanks for the great vid! Very useful since I'm currently choosing uni accommodation for Plymouth for september! I wanted to know for the Old dairy, is it quiet around? I guess as it's close to the city centre, I imagine it would be quite noisy? I like keeping my windows open at night for fresh air at home, but don't want it to be really loud at uni when I'm trying to sleep or study. Also, do you know if many med students or people who do longer courses stay there? I would have to be there a week before everyone else and don't want to be the only person there on the week before freshers week if that makes sense. Thank you!

I did the opposite, went to Aberdeen uni in 1984, a real culture shock in terms of weather/climate etc. But got used to the change, but the 12 hour bus ride from Plymouth to Aberdeen was not fun, more an ordeal. Nowadays, flying would be the norm??
