I hate to tell you this people, but Harumo Imai is a SPECIAL TALENT. I just discovered her by way of TH-cam and I would put her up there with Kenny Garret. She is not a Miles Davis, but she is something very special 👍🏾

I’ve been loving Harumo’s playing for quite awhile now - but I think this is the first time I’ve heard her speak. Pretty surprising to hear that calm, gentle voice coming from someone with such a powerful, energetic appearance and absolutely ferocious sax playing. Nice surprise! Anyway, keep on tearing it up, Harumo - you’re AMAZING!!
