tbh the Origins team should have made classic mode an emulator running Sonic 1, CD, 2 or 3&K built-in into the game. Also asking the fans to make hacks of those games with the Origins cast and sprites.

SEGA could literally just hire these passionate fans to fix the game for them, even without pay if they must, because I'm sure these fans care most about making a collection the best it can truly be.

Is there someone I can contact for a little bit of help? Whenever I try to launch Origins with this mod (as well as the other recommended mods) I just get a black screen after the Sega logo.

Is there any way to fix the 1-up glitch in S3&K? I mean, the music restarts when getting an extra life instead of pausing then unpausing with a fade like in the original game. Can't help but think its just a file placed incorrectly given the music stopping then restarting is normal behavior for when you get invincibility.
