Literally happened to somebody in my crew, lost his first actual fight and that hurt his ego bad. As my brother pointed out in highschool school (alternative so we were all 18-19) he was always the strongest among people fighting wise, big into boxing and martial arts. The rest of us were just strong and could go to toe with him especially at wrestling, but he was the best at actually fighting so as my bro pointed out after his downfall, he was like a big fish in a small pond. His cousins who were in the street life would take him to go fight people, beat people up, etc. Anyways he finally got into boxing and would train and spar, but we don't think he had the best trainers. He got his whooped, literally knocked out the right. He was no longer the big fish in the small, he was a small fish in a big pond and he quit, and then fell into drugs. Boxing and martial arts was like his outlet, he didn't have the best life as parents and familu were terrible, and that was pretty much game over
