Love him. He was an absolute genius. Best sound of any band in the history of music. Nothing rocks like The Fall did, it’s enough to make you want to give up songwriting.

I was at this gig with my brother and I remember a fairly small audience and someone shouting for tracks off of Grotesque and Mark saying fuck off we are going to play only new stuff. Quite funny in retrospect

It’s as bad as your uncle getting up at a wedding and giving it large to Suspicious minds .. at least that would be funny and not thought of as Avante Garde and trendy . Plus Mark was a huge whopper apparently who was very hard work . 🤷‍♂️ 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Awesome band. Saw them do this in 1985. Met the band after. Gave Devil Dogs to Brix and Mark E gave me a cigarette which I just put in my pocket and didn't smoke.
