When it comes to South African popular music, there is one name that soars above all others - Dan Tshanda.
With his reign dominating the eighties and continuing to this day, every South African was touched by his music in some form or the other, whether it was through his singing in his band Splash, his song writing with Patricia Majalisa or his production work with Matshikos and the Dalom Kids, he ruled the airwaves and dance floors across the country.
Dan Tshanda is a musical genius and to this day he sells Gold and Platinum status on his records, now under his own record company, Dalom Kids Productions.
