So disgusting how people use their hands and can't use a wooden spoon or something handy. Claw that food out and give the family your bacterias and e-coli.

Interesting device, but I can now understand how food stuffs may get stuck in between the blades.

I love my Mezzaluna. Unfortunately I never use it for vegetables or herbs, I find using a sharp kitchen knife will suffice. I donot own or use a mincer, a food processor or any other new contraptions that maybe out there, especially the ones that have a lot of fidgety bits that need alot of tedious cleaning. So the reason for my spiel on kitchen utensils is this, I'm passionate about making Brawn and I have tried to perfect it's meat texture each time I've made it (I prefer a finely cut meat opposed to chunky). I've used kitchen knives, cleavers and yes I did try a food processor once (texture was okay, but the clean up! No never again) it would no doubt benefit some peoples needs, but for me the Mezzaluna is the one tool that does it all...until I find something even better but for now. I love my Mezzaluna :)
