Acts 16:31 and James 2:19 use the very same Greek word for believe, “pisteuson”. At 1:40 Alex falsely suggests that these verses contain two different words. I do agree that saving faith requires more than mere “pisteuson” though. It requires obedience and trust.

Every one who isn't a calvinist is being subtly induced into Calvinism. From both sides.

The free will argument ( BTW I am neither Calvinist or Arminianin). That it's a violation is not well thought out Because what about in heaven? What about after glorification? Is it unfair that God makes it so that we can't reverse our position in Heaven? That it's a violation of freewill that we can't undo glorification? It's the same point with justification.

This is just another' insecurity of the believer ( clavinsm) v insecurity of the believer ( Arminianism) Debate.
