Hello viewers, and welcome back to Vaidic Wellness! Kidney stones are a common and painful condition caused by mineral deposits in the kidneys. These stones can lead to intense discomfort as they travel through the urinary tract and can cause serious complications if not managed properly. In today’s video, we’re sharing 5 essential tips to help you prevent kidney stones and maintain better kidney health. #kidneystoneproblems #kidneystrong #cure #dietplan
1: Stay Hydrated
Dehydration is a leading cause of kidney stones, as concentrated urine increases the risk of mineral deposits forming into stones. Aim to drink at least 8 glasses of water daily, and more if you live in a hot climate or exercise frequently. Keeping hydrated helps dilute your urine and flush out potential stone-forming substances.
2: Limit Salt Consumption
Excess salt in your diet can elevate calcium levels in your urine, which promotes kidney stone formation. To reduce your risk, cut back on high-sodium foods and use herbs and spices to flavor your meals instead. Moderation is key to keeping your kidneys healthy.
3: Eat a Balanced Diet
