It is a SOLID, KEEP FOR LONG TIME, sort of bag!! Hmm, compared to the Gr2 26L or the CTB26… I would consider these 3 champions of this weight category. I love the CTB26 but never seem to keep it because of the harness system. GR2 wins if I don’t need my laptop. If I have my laptop/tech, AC Max EDC wins! Whats your current preference: GR2 26L or CTB26?

@NightShift_EDC I don't own either but I have soft spot for mystery ranch because of the harness, and a2dp has got that amazing layout that I enjoy but it's just too large for EDC so I'll probably buy this yeti at some point...

The Yeti Big Boi was always going to be a ‘No go’ … but I just had to try! The bags capacity was surprising !

I like the additional features of the EDC Max as well as the luxurious liner fabric over the GR1 if i’m carrying any tech. My GR1 is a keep forever bag built in trusty 1000D cordura.

Haha, definitely a big boi! Yeti makes some seriously impressive bottles. Your clinical instructor must have been prepared for anything with that bottle! What do you think of the AC Max EDC, does it match your style?

@NightShift_EDC I do like it, but I'm with you on the different shade of brown. Love the water bottle pocket and the built in independent volume of the front pocket. Though, I'm also a patch nerd and hate how few cool bags or slings have hook and loop fields at all, let alone big enough ones to add multiple patches. It's such a great way to differentiate one's bag. Not that most people are walking around with these bags. We're bag nerds, afterall. LoL. But still. I'm about to experiment with adding a loop field onto an alpaka tech pouch that I sometimes use as a sling (with adhesive because I hate the idea of negating the waterproofness of the xpac) and see how well that holds. Also thinking of sewing one onto my CPL 24.

Ive done that with adhesive velcro and have a brand I can recommend if you dont already have some

@NightShift_EDC I would *love* that! I did already get "secure stitch" on the recommendation of another youtube person who used it to back patches with hook fields. But that is a lot less wear and tear than actually being on the main textile itself. I'd love to know what you've used and how it worked. Thanks so much! You rock like geology!

My everyday bag may also carry camera gear on certain occasions, all protected inside.

It’s the opposite of all those things. Probably one of the better constructed bags by Yeti. No slip. Lots of storage.

I have some mystery ranch bags and I really like this yeti, been using it for a few days now and love it. When you open it up the rigid back insert is a mystery ranch piece.

I like the name Mystery Ranch for their backpacks better than Yeti as well.

How do you like this run through style of review? Where it’s all just bag- no talking, no opinions, ect. Im thinking of mixing these in here and there.

I chose the wings set because I use the bag as a fanny pack a bit more than a sling bag. It’s a bulky bag but perfect when I need to carry a lot of stuff. My friend John from Unpack’d didnt get the wing set and is happy with that decision.

Hi, not sure of the material but leaning towards black waxed canvas for more of a vintage look. Don't really like the bottle holder buckles. I'm going to ask for molle webbing sewn on the bottom so I can use a removable strap. Probably going to go with a lighter grey interior. But.... those are just wishes....I'm not even sure I can even order one yet!! I'll for sure let you know if I'm lucky enough to get one. With all the trouble in the Ukraine 🇺🇦, it might be a while. Wishing them peace soon!!!
