First, Kryo fine motor skills are still developing. Try getting him the preschooler pencils and crayons. He is using the wrong writing tools. Try giving him one letter a day to work on. Teach him how to make or trace circles or straight lines. I can DM you more to do with him . I know it’s hard but you have to be patient with him.

This was very difficult to watch, the way you were speaking to him and about him was not appropriate. Please have him practice making circles and sticks on plain paper or the green lined paper. If you have any questions or concerns about him not being able to see or hear address that with the appropriate medical professionals.

Is Kyro three yet? This might be a little bit advanced for him. There are sheets with just straight lines, zig zags, and waves to get them use to tracing. I know Kyra is advanced but you have to realize than not every kid will be on the same trajectory so I would try to have more patience with him. Also, sometimes you have to let kids do things there way. He traced it very well without going down first. Some kids write letters differently but still get it right. Lastly, think about how you would wanted to be treated when learning something new. We don't have to post our kids like this on the internet.

Teacher here…have him trace various lines and swirls. It helps early writers. Also try fatter pencils, triangle pencils or allowing him to start his writing with crayons.

Maybe you should let him draw “down” lines just a page full of down lines only … then once he gets that move to the curve of the “D”

His basics of writing isn’t there yet, how old is he? Is he even 3 yet? He needs to learn to write lines straight, curve, etc before doing letters. Has his school expressed concerned or are you putting him on your timeline? Please learn some patience with him.

What gets me is this woman has all the patience for that no good man she keeps getting pregnant by but when it comes to a damn toddler that clearly hasn’t learned the fundamentals of tracing smh she can’t handle it. Watching you with Kyro bring back memories. You just feel like screaming. But now that I’m older. You just have to let him do it the way he’s doing it and praise him. Sometimes kids learn better from each other, maybe he and Kyra can play some learning games together. I’ve seen ones where the kids trace with their fingers. Even the baby girl can start finger painting the letters in her name with her fingers. It’s fun and she’s slowly learning to write ✍🏽 her name

All kids don’t learn the same way. You are doing great but just have a bit more patience with him. He will get it!! ❤

I’m not trying to be disrespectful, but You’re not working with him correctly. Praise him for the things he is doing correctly. Try different learning mechanisms for him. This video was hard to watch.

Hey Pooh! I’m only 4 minutes into your video and I wanted to recommend getting Kryo and the other kids a kiddie table & chairs 🪑 to complete their work. I used to be a program evaluator for organizations receiving funding and that’s the first thing we would “look” for. I think this would help him better see the paper and help with his writing coordination. You doing a great job, per usual! Hope you don’t forget that! Back to watching the rest of the video 💌

Even when he tries and still draws in the wrong direction if he makes the letter still tell him good job anyway. Then try to be patient with him while he tries. If you fuss at him he will get discouraged.

If Kyro is a visual learner he may need to see examples more than hear directions. I have my littles watch tracing for kids videos everyday on YT then we do worksheets. I also started with a book of prewriting exercises that has them practice all the different lines, zig zags, and squiggles first.

I've noticed a lot of people moving back to STL from ATL. They are really hiring here. I applied for 1 job, and they called me for an interview immediately. A lot of these companies need help bad. Move close to the family. It will probably help while you're job hunting.

Love seeing how you meal prep, spend time dancing and playing with your children. As you know, Simon is a great game choice. Playing Simon requires children to use and strengthen their attention skills, focusing skills, auditory sequential memory, visual processing and overall sensory skills, etc. Plus, playing Simon became another great memorable and fun time with mom❤️
