Hi . I have the same oven brand new and it doesnt hold temperature . If i set to say 400 degrees it just keeps climbing up to 500 and beyond ???? I put a thermoworks temperature gauge inside to test the accuracy .
If it's brand new ,just return it. Thermostat inside is not working most likely.

It comes with a fork tool that prys that cotter pin out and releases it..we use a 4ft pry bar..our fork tool got lost also
It does get flipped around..those double pins grab it..and lock it into position..sometimes it gets wear and second pin only grabs it..pretty much just another safety if big pin is not in place..or it just keeps the rattling noise down..we have same Geith thumb on a Case cx 130

Dear BaldTheBuilder, thank you for your video. Ours failed the same way three days ago, and we just fixed it this morning by removing the door switch. We are glad that we didn't have to put it in the landfill. It is our favorite toaster oven too.
May i have it shipped to you to fix? I need the exact same repair.

You better live in a warm state too, I saw some poor guy sitting outside in -20 for 7 hours and didn't even get a full charge.
I understand it's not the same as filing up the gas truck , but I generally do not tow long distances
Towing youll lose a couple miles per gallon. Electric youll lose typically half your range or more towing far less. My truck gets about 11 loaded with tools. But me towing a 22 foot trailer with two buggys and several spare tires gets 9.5 and its gas! Not to mention i have a 35 gallon tank.
I guess we'll see once my Cybertruck is here 😊
@@Baldcurious I am excited to see strives in the electric vehicle market but I believe we maybe tackling it wrong. I really like the fresh ideas of the electric axle conversion for heavy duty trucks. And when your batteries get low it has a very nice diesel generator to keep you going and charge your batteries while driving. Very cool.

But.. every door unit i have ever installed you will always have to freshen up the strike plate and latch plate. I usually have to deepen the holes a good 1/8" on newer locks that have heavier latch plates. those def need to be cleaned up

You should have pointed the camera at the jack instead. All we see is a beam being raised by something off-camera. How is the beam attached to the jack? How is the jack operated?

We have a different Cuisinart toaster oven, a TOB 1010 with just a push start/start button that won't come on. I've taken it apart to where I can see the control panel. Can you help with where to diagnose next? THX
