That is an amazing piece of equipment - imagine if you had to do that armed with only a yard broom!

This machine works very well on moss but does not clean the dirt too well which is a breeding ground for moss and the chemical is absolutely necessary to kill off all remaining moss, fungus, etc.

It's fascinating to see how new technology changes the game for you. How long do the brush attachments last, working-hour wise? What chemicals are used to clear up the moss that didn't get brushed up?

Sometimes the music makes the video unwatchable.

The metal brush looks like it bounces up and down but the electric cleans flat so less chance getting dips with the electric

How long do the bridges last on Average, and how much to replace the brushes, great bit of kit and job you did ✌🏼

Once in a pile before chemical cleaner on the drive or path, get the moss used as a plant insulator. Saves the brown bin / removal to the dump run

The responsibility for the conifers is 100% the customer and zero for the neighbor. They should be trimmed all around avoiding any overhang of the neighbour which is causing the problem.

That mavhines a god send. Spent years doing that with a shovel.

Awwww. The moss wasn’t doing any harm; it was supporting its own little community.

I don't understand why a local council is responsible for sidewalk maintenance. In America, the city builds the sidewalks, but edging and cleaning them is up to the property owner/renter. Because the way it is here, you have a roadside curb, some grass, then the sidewalk, and then thd rest of your yard. So edging them (getting the grass and soil overgrowth off) and pressure washing them is all up to that home owner. Relying on some sort or level of government to get something like that done would literally mean it never gets done, so you just do it yourself.

I tried cleaning the moss outside my house with my jetwash. Bad idea. Cheap tarmac got blasted full of holes even on the widest nozzle and held far away.

If I were a council manager responsible for pavements, what an easy way to gain friends and influence people, the visibility of the finished job is quite stunning and really for not that much effort.

Good job, well done. Never seen a machine like this. Very useful. No doubt, if you were to put your sign up on the path whilst doing the work, you could get alot of business out of it from people going/driving by.

Have you tried using a wire brush for those small, tricky spots?

The moss is only there because whoever owns the conifers let them get overgrown. Stop blaming the council for this one!!
