The Felix Project is a charity that works with food suppliers and charities to reduce food surplus and food poverty. We collect food from supermarkets, wholesalers and other food suppliers - food that is fresh and nutritious, but cannot be sold for various reasons. We then deliver that food free of charge to a range of charities across London who provide meals, snacks or food parcels for their communities, including the elderly, the homeless, those with mental health issues, refugees and asylum seekers, and vulnerable families and their children.

From a standing start in March 2016, we now collect from 70+ food suppliers and serve 80+ front-line charities, supported by over 100 volunteers. Ten tonnes of food that would otherwise go to waste passes through our operation every week, providing 20,000 meals to those in need on a weekly basis. We have recently acquired a second depot in North London, which will increase our scale and reach.
