𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐧 𝐁𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐀𝐓𝐈
The alumni of the 1972 batch of Samrat Ashok Technological Institute (Degree) organized a reunion of their batch on 21 and 22 December 2024. As part of their celebration, they visited their Alma Mater on Sunday, 22 December 2024, to reconnect with the institute and relive cherished memories.
To mark the occasion, the institute hosted a warm welcome program. The director of the institute, Dr. YK Jain, along with faculty members, greeted the alumni with garlands and honored them with mementos in a ceremony held in the smart classroom.
Dr. YK Jain addressed the gathering, saying, “It is a privilege to welcome our distinguished alumni back to their alma mater. The accomplishments of the 1972 batch continue to inspire the SATI community. Their generous contribution to the SATI Alumni Fund demonstrates their unwavering commitment to the institute’s growth.”
During the visit, the alumni donated ₹1,00,000 to the SATI Alumni Fund, a gesture that underscores their enduring bond with the institute. Shri MK Jain, speaking on behalf of the batch, emphasized their lifelong connection with SATI, recalling the profound impact the institute and its teachers had on their personal and professional journeys.
The reunion was attended by notable alumni such as Shri CS Sangeet Rao, Shri NK Malhotra, Shri Purushottam Chaturvedi, Shri RK Srivastava, Shri DK Goyal, Shri VK Khandelwal, Shri KK Bakshi, Shri VS Bedi, Shri NP Sharma, Shri HS Gupta, Shri GD Kothari, Shri RS Goyal, Shri SK Gupta, Shri Vijendra Sinha, Shri AK Bandil, Shri Ashok Gupta, Shri Ashok Singhal, Shri PD Sharda, Shri Rajiv Sharma, Shri Sushil Agarwal, and Shri Rajeshwar Nagaraj, accompanied by their families.
The institute’s faculty, including Prof. Sandeep Jain, Dr. Ashish Manoria, Dr. Ashutosh Datar, Dr. Ravi Mohan Saxena, Dr. Alok Jain, Dr. Rajiv Jain, Dr. Abhishek Jain, and Dr. Veena Datar, were present to honor the alumni. Prof. Sandeep Jain conducted the program and delivered the vote of thanks.
This reunion was a testament to the strong ties between SATI and its alumni, with the 1972 batch setting a shining example of dedication and gratitude for generations to come.
