Your math is off, sorry. Fame credits are roughly twice as much as fame (need 16 mil fame credits to 100 a weapon vs 32 mil normal fame) So you pay 1000 silver for fame credits you get about 2000 effective combat fame. With tomes of insight you pay 14k you get 10k, while you couldve gotten 28k if you were getting fame credits. Im not trying to insult you, but you might be misinforming people who are less knowledgeable

tomes only good if you want to level a whole set of gear to 100 so you can get the most of it and you have the silver, for new players there is no better option than killing open world mobs

I have all boots and helmets maxed, currently working on robes and plate, should I use autorespec or tomes?

So auto-respect will only consume silver when i manually add for levels to it? Or is it like consuming silver as im gaining fame I have my auto-respec turned on, bit if its eating my silver i dont want it, i dont mind leveling normal without out any boosts, im trying to save my silver, should i just turn it off to be safe?

I love it when people discover something and thinks he's genius and presents to the world xD Well good try but here's the thing, Credits are worth 2x for weapons, 4x for armor, and 8x for head/boot. Idk the off-hand probably 16x. What this means is, the 8,382 credit you got is actually 16,764 fame for weapon, 33,528 for armor, 67,056 for head/boot. Suppose you got 15k credit from a mob and paid 15k silver for it, you get 30k weapon + 60k armor + 120k head + 120k boot. Now that you're back on the right path, keep doing the rest math from there. Remember weapon requires a lot more fame than the others but credit only gives 2x worth fame for weapon.

This guide is only good if you haven't maxed 100 all your armors and offhands yet. If you're left with weap to spec up only, you'll need 35m fame to 100spec a weap, but when you use combat fame credits you'll only need 17m total. Also its good to stock up early combat fame credits whenever you have extra silver, so you'll have no problem leveling 100-120 your favorite main weap and armors later.
