Who yold you that our ancestors come from Egypt? I cant speak for every tribe, but In the case of Yoruba, Edo, Igbo, and Ibibio people and other tribes in that area, we are indigenous to the area, and have been there BEFORE THERE WAS AN EGYPT. Nsibidi was in use and was well used way back in 5000 b.c. suggesting that it was already developed and standardized at that time! We have to let go of this obsession with ancient Egypt all because the white folks say that the only civilization in Africa is Egypt. And many of us, myself included are not just descendants of west Africa but also east Africa! We have been civilized people and white people don't get to determine what civilization is. Egypt isn't the pinnacle of African civilization. My ancestors are nuch more ancient than rhe Egyptians, and probably taught them about civilization. The white people came to west Africa and because they couldn't and actually REFUSED to recognize our ancestors humanity, would atribute our civilization to places like Egypt and the Levant. But pur humanity and our civilization and ingenuity is home grown in Africa. Egypt itself isnt original, and it got its spirituality and culture from Nubia and further south in Sudan. As Black people in America we have to stop this obsession with Egypt unless we are actually descendants of Kemet. Personally i can trace my African ancestry to the Akan/Ashanti, the Mende/Temne, the ibibio, igbo, the Yoruba, the Maasai, and kikuyu. There is no Egyptian at all in my ancestry. And most Black Americans have igbo, Ibibio, yoruba, akan, Ashanti, mende and temne ancestry. Other tribes also exist in our families due to different areas being raided sych as the french raiding in east Africa, and the English in Southern Africa. When you play into this stupid narrative of Egypt being supreme and us coming from Egypt, then you insult our ancestors! We are older MUCH MUCH OLDER! Our ancestors existed before the Sahara was a desert! And we are not jews or arabs either! We are indigenous to the glorious land of mama Africa! Be proud and never hang your head in shame! We are among the first people!

those who dispute the effectiveness of DNA testing are idiots. All Africans can easily guess the origin of other blacks in the diaspora from their physical appearance. They had known it for a very long time but could not tell them. Soon, by following these DNA test results, African Americans, Caribbeans and West Indians will be able to guess the origin of their compatriots themselves. Long series make it easier to understand the laws of breed genetics.

Do you know that most native african can Guess easily your region in Africa. There are differents ethnic and different groups, that are differents but each one recognize the others. They did not want to tell you, the diaspora, because of your imprevisible reaction. We know who you are for decades

I did just ordered my dna kit from you 3 days ago and can't wait to get it. However, B. Taylor was under surveillance for about 6 months by the police for alleged activity. The cops came to arrest her but died in a shootout by police. The male she was with allegedly shot at the cops first but somehow he came out without a scratch. B. Taylor had lost her job due to her having a male friend use her rented car and a dead body was found in it. The police could have arrested her but did not and she told the cops that she will cooperate with them. The cop were kind to her. What about all those victims of the drug dealings and other things that she may have been associated with. What type of people does she hang out with!? The lives of these whom died or are strong out on drugs matter, too. Are we so desperate as Black Americans to get Black heroes that we chose anything?! But when a Black person does well scholastically, many of us poopoo them saying that they "trying to be white" So, are they saying to be Black is being a loser. Be your own hero when you look into the mirror and embrace all of your genetics to work for you.
