Fine with the Insta 360 mate. It's so versatile for vlogging purposes (bet it's a bitch in the edit, mind 😂). Lesley and I were up there last week - road trip to visit an old friend on Orkney. Made a point of coming back via the Cairngorms. In terms of roads, that through Glen Shee is one of my all-time faves - even in a car! We were blessed with a mostly dry and sunny day with epic views 👌. Enjoyed your vid - you come across well and tell a good story. Well done!
Thanks Mike, im glad you enjoyed it! The insta 360 really allowed me to move quick and as its waterproof I didnt need to worry about the weather! Editing is a little tricky but alot more intuitive than you'd think thankfully! Orkney Islands sound wonderful, I'd love to head up there someday. The very sight of them off the North Coast seems like a location from an old adventure film or something. Glad you got to see a bit of the Cairngorms, wonderful place :)
@@Pixel_and_Grain Can thoroughly recommend Orkney. It's a magical place - full of ancient history as well as World War stuff.
Some happy gilder sent me...I love your work!
Hi David, thanks for heading over to the channel! Thats very kind of you to say. I hope you continue to enjoy. Im also very excited Paul is back! Take care
Great Video Dude!
Thanks man!
Really good stuff, Carl 👏. As well as the extra faff of carrying video gear and enough batteries, memory cards etc as well as the time spent getting the footage, there is the monumental job of editing it. I know how long it takes! Excellent edit and good choice of incidental music: not in yer face but really added to the vibe IMO. You got skills nephew! It's a shame your dad couldnt make Take 2 but Milky was a great stand-in. Mike 👌
Yeah it was quite daunting when i sat down and dragged that first clip on to the timeline! Thanks, yeah i really felt the music helped carry some shots and im really happy with the outcome. Glad you enjoyed this one too! Its much appreciated 🙏
That was great, Carl. Just warming up to tackle the loooonng video 😂. Nice to see a different perspective of the Cairngorms - used to viewing it from the road through a visor at more than walking speed! Mike
Thank you! Im glad you enjoyed it. It sounds like enjoying the Cairngorms wizzing past your visor is an equally awesome perspective!
I am really enjoying the videos!
Thanks so much!! I really appreciate that. I have another one coming out soon so stay tuned! Thanks again
