I actually disagree. Genshin has always had powercreep, the difference is that Genshin is such an easy game and it's end game content rarely scales with new character releases unlike HSR. so that's how you end up with 1.X characters being able to clear pretty comfortably, even though all of them have been unquestionably been powercrept, while in HSR you see limited character (like blade seele, jing yuan...) already starting to struggle without massive amounts of investment.

Eh, I disagree. Mualani is really good but she doesn't beat Neuvillette, and while Xilonen is looking busted, she'll def be nerfed atleast a little bit, and even in her current state she's contending for the number 1 spot with a character released 3 years ago.

1. Robin and Ruan mei arguably performs the same in broad spectrum of teams (i got both; both at e1 also) But it’s the fact that ruan mei is so easy to use, and dont require that much investment (im talking particularly the ease when picking lightcones cause my robin has to have the signature in order to recover energy and work on par as ruan mei, using a 3 star 4 star smth cone, and just building break and 120 speed for the plannar and whatever she slaps). Robin on the other hand i’d say has potential, to get moved up. Since with the trend of more and more follow up units from the IPC and the fact that feixiao is coming, bringing the high-frequency meta with her and also march 7th. I do think they offer very similar perfomance and support capabilities, but the ultimate ease of use and the unique break time delay over advance (there’re other advance support, like sparkle, bronya; and some dps can advance themself, and even buff their own attack) so as much as i love robin and the shenanigans i can do with her using gallagher and march 7th to proc concerto dmg :))) i’d say ruan mei deserve tier 0

@@cvang_el Robins 0 cycle ability is well beyond RM. While true over the course of 3 or 4 they even out due to the buffs not really being that far off from one another, Robin is defiantly the 0 cycle queen of star rail. Imo the char that deserves tier 0 is the char that can clear in the least amount of cycles, and that's 100% Robin. I wouldn't mind having them both, but due to the fact they are only allowing one i'd put Robin over RM overall. Jiaoqiu has also shown the ability to match RM and Robin both in a 3 cycle clear from tests that i've seen done. But he most certainly won't be tier 0. Likely not even tier 0.5 despite the fact he's the BiS for the best DPS in the game. Jiaoqiu = Robin in best teams aka Acheron and Firefly. Jiaoqiu = Robin outside of those teams. Yet watch there be an entire tier between them.

Your point regarding Jingliu’s power level coincides identically with what i have in mind with Danheng IL These days i rarely use him, and like it’s kinda anti-synergistic to use him with robin since she prefer more frequent action units (dr ratio, hunt march 7th, aventurine, gallagher, and dot units! with their highspeed nature) same with point number one, you can clear a cycle faster with a prime destruction dps, than a very invested dot team solely does not make them deserve a tier higher. and i’d say the next patch has the hoolay, and lot’s of enemy with lightning and wind weakness And even regarding the sidegrading/ powercreeping nature of gacha games, Kafka’s standing strong in her own niche, with swan there being both unique and powerful against the testament of time And i’d also argue that this team may havent even reached its full potential yet. Dot units usually build high speed and attack and ignore the crit (any sub is appreciated). but you see that buff in divergent universe that allows dot to crit so there’s a possibility for a future harmony/nihility/sustain allows dot to crit then the damage ceiling will only go up about jingliu and danheng pure damage, crit ratios on steroid and superb attack all make them kinda hard to improve since their stats and power level are already so so saturated. The ceiling’s hardly be raised any further. and acheron being a nihility already doing more damage than jingliu and danheng IL so it’s inevitable that they stay where they are honestly (Unless there are stats or potential mechanics to raise their damage ceilings even higher that i missed, then it is what it is) also not to mention these turn based game will be more and more of a racing game, where advances, high speed is rewarded and enemies getting faster and faster so destruction units relying on doing one big chunk of damage, and relying on supports to buff their speed/ advance them would feel very limited and prone to be powercrept by a future dps being both stronger and faste)

Remember in their criteria this list is based on no signature lightcone. If they we’re accounting for that then alot of things in this list would be different.

@@cvang_el The tier list is about this MoC tho, nothing about future ability. I agree DoT has a future, but they are simply not tier 0 atm. The tier list is about MoC and the others but the one i am on about is MoC. If a char clears the MoC faster, they should not be a lower tier than chars they clear faster than, that just makes no sense.

@@alavien People are leaving each game. But the amount is always higher within the first two months. So most WuWa quitters left already and ZZZ is about to drop as well. Doesnt matter. If ZZZ has 10 times the amount of players but only does 3x more money, its a sad sign. By basic math, if WuWa had the same amount, their hypothetical income would be far higher. Its either all WuWa players spend money, or WuWa has far more Whales then ZZZ.

@@alavien Besides i dont care about the Sales anyway. If WuWa and Star Rail get around 25-40.000 each month they are FAR over what they need. It doesnt matter who is first place. The fact that matters, is that HSR, WuWa and Love and Deepspace are FAR better than ZZZ

@@SolaireOfToast How do we even know how many players each games have, tho? The website that count live players only have zzz be around 4m, whereas ww is like 1.2m. So it's about 4x more players. So the 3x more revenue seem more in line.

It sure as hell was the main point. Other stuff were just free rewards and shxt, played it in release and quit a few months cause of how dry the content is, when I came back the fan service was definitely there, other than that it's just a few QoL that was added and some new content

For example, the way people talk about Ellen, you would have thought she was a grown woman working for a house keeping. Company. But it turns out she was a young lady in high school. Another example is the two blonde girls you see. Their clothing is frankly inappropriate because they look like they're 12. The fact that they never treat the young boys in their games the same way is pretty off-putting.

There are obviously not 8 express members so I add whatever characters fit into the remaining slots so I can complete all content since its physically impossible to do with less than 8. My one team is Himeko, HTB, RM and FF and my other team is now DHIL, Bronya, Welt and March.

@@foolishZielke I knew I needed one of these limited 5 stars on my account so I pulled a little and got them both super early + jade sig LC in 1 10 pull, so I’d say it was an accident. I don’t/can’t even use my jade (no follow up characters except herta who isn’t leveled) and didn’t really want her as much as argenti

Herta is such a great character with Jade. Herta is a great dps while Jade can be her sub dps. Just bear in mind theyre both ERUDITION units which means they excel in waves of enemies. Since you don’t have a break team I wouldn’t recommend Lingsha, and highly do recommend HuoHuo. She’s an amazing healer who gives energy and buffs attack, and cleanses like crazy. I also recommend you get bronya/himeko from your 300 wish pull. Of you happen to get either one of them before hitting the 300 selector do the other character.

@JoeDoe Forgot you said argenti, imo Herta is slightly better In a jade team then him but he is easier to build and still very good. I think you should focus on pulling for harmony and abundance characters for now. Your pure fiction clears are basically set. So after getting some supports I recommend you pull for other types of DPS characters, IE Destruction or hunt especially. Look at videos and think if it’s a good character for your account. As it stands you have 2 very good erudition characters which means clearing content that has many enemies in it will be a breeze but you struggle with having no buffers and no single target dps characters. If you don’t know how to build teams I recommend you such up a guide. As it stands now from not knowing who you have on your team. You’re limited to teams like: Jade, Herta/Argenti, Natasha/Lynx, Yukong,Asta. See how you have two DPS, a sustain, and a buffer. Some teams will use two buffers and one sustain. Again search up teams for your character you use. But as it stands you should pull for buffers and sustains for now 🤝

I Just think yunli is adorable do Im going gör her and lingsha.brsides that no new character interrested me. I am pretty low on jades tho so As long as I get those two the enxt few patches are for saving for me. Good luck on your Yunli pulls.
