My experience with Vanquish Products customer service
what size hubs are those?
Man I just used a chemical gel to strip down my little drift car it looks like obi wan left it in a lava river to die 😂 I’m having such a hard time making it smooth again I don’t know what to do I don’t wanna give up on it 😭
What i did was took a screw driver and a hammer took me 2 min
You are the man thank you
This came out beautifully. Can I ask a question? So im trying to paint my hard body but everytime i use the tamiya masking tape to make the lines so I can paint the other side a different color when I take the tape off it leaves a streak of residue that makes me have to start all over and sand it and paint again but all I will be doing is going is circles. My question is if I leave the residue will this clear coat cover it and make is vanish? Or do you have a suggestion to get rid of the residue? Before you suggest some products I did some researching and I tried Wd40, Water, Goo Gone and using more tape to stick it and bring it up but none of these work. Thanks for any help!
Did the same on my 7 pro. Worked great. Then hacked it into a pickup truck
Wish you had more videos on this truck. ...especially now!
I didn't post very many running videos because it seemed to bring out the negative side of the internet.
I just built one, love the way the long wheelbase handles and it hillclimbs well! ill have more videos coming on mine
Nice!
Body ??
I have the same wheels on my Scx10 55 f100 but mine are already black: no need to change the color! They look epic on my truck with Duratrax Deepwoods tires.
That's pretty cool they send you stickers I ordered the spring retainers I ordered the Dlux-fab shock caps with the extended Traxxas ball end. The little silver mounts that you have on the top of your shock. I did not get it one sticker 😂😂😂😂
Had the same issue and took the brute force approach... it worked but nearly damaged the motor. I now have a dermal and wish I’d seen this tip earlier!
I did this great upgrade to my everest gen7 pro. The 1/8 solid core fishing line lead is what you need, can get on Amazon. I would recommend upgrading tire foams at this time also. I installed the "Crazy Crawler Laser Foam" Heavy duty 1.9 tire foams, (116×40mm). The wheel alone weighs approximately (22.5g) adding the lead exactly as shown in his video adds an additional (28g) of weight approximately to each wheel. I put electrical tape over top of the lead, but left a gap at the air hole in the rim. Initially I went all the way around, but it affected the way the tire reacted. Great video, hope this info helps everyone.
Where r u. Miss your podcast bro
I will be recording another episode soon because I have a new project rc that I am building. I don't have anywhere quiet to record in my new place that is the biggest hold up on the podcast.
Thanks great video, feeling the same way about my MT410. How does its length now compare to the Kraton out of interest?
Nice esc. I look great men
LOL I just pulled mine off when I was watching your video
This is smart. I'm going to make a et48.3 with the mt410 kit along with extra truggy parts.
I like how it handled way better with the longer chassis.
I work for SMC haha
Max 6. Esc
It now has a Castle mmx 8s esc.
Awesome review my RC friend 👍 SUBBED
Thank you so much. I was struggling to get mine off, I used my dremel and got it off in ten minutes, you earned my sub.
Great video. What about the old body ? Does it fit on the new chassis ?
I had to drill new holes in the body but it still worked.
Cool vid! I’m thinking about doing eb48.3 to tell 48.3...
Wanted to drop a line to say that I'm a big fan of the podcast. I binged all of them in a couple weeks and am looking forward to more. I'm a newb to the hobby and it is a great and informative listen. Be well man.
With all the upgrades , do you feel a noticeable difference while running it?
The designer's of these rc cars that use these tiny ass small grub screws are ABSOLUTE FUCKING IDIOTS. I've literally purposely slammed and broken 2 1/8 scale buggies because of this exact repair. When will these morons realize!! Stop putting tiny small grub screw to hold in the pinion!!! So up setting!
I mostly use Tekno pinions do to them using a larger grub screw.
@@rcbasherpodcast898 if I'm able to somehow remove this grub screw from my brand new 1/8 scale JQ buggy I just put together...I swear I'll use anything but yes if Tekno has larger one
Is the m2c chassis better than tekno 48.3 chassis? And does everything line up well on it?
Everything lined up great. It was an easy swap. M2C makes great products and yes the M2C chassis is a better quality aluminum and it might be thicker but I can't remember for sure.
@@rcbasherpodcast898 thank you for your reply I do appreciate it have a blessed night👍😀
thank you for shareing, been looking for shock standoffs that allow articulate
Dude I live like 10 minutes from lucia falls!
Good battery but customer service is non existent with SMC👎👎👎
The one I had was crap. It puffed up after about 10 cycles.
@@rcbasherpodcast898thanks, I'll give turnigy a try
Do you enjoy the SCX10 more than your other crawlers?
Yeah I like SMC over traxxas batteries.
Whats a good and cheep brushed motor for speed and powor for a stock scx10ii
Holmes Hobbies 550 trailmaster sport 12t.
Cool
After a year do you wish you had gotten the medium outer?
No the soft outers are working fine for me but I did end up adding the tuning ring they came with to the rear tires.
@@rcbasherpodcast898 I'm running wheel weights in my rims soninfigure that might stiffen then up a bit. The tuning ring tuning ring you were able to buy seperate?
@@OswaldBeef the foams came with another thin foam on them that I originally took off but ended up putting it back in on the rear because many people recommend running a former foam on the rear.
No Budget RC ahhhh I see they include the tuning ring. My trx4 is about 9.5 lbs so I figured soft but was worried I shoulda got medium. With the added tuning ring I’ll be fine. Awesome thank you for info brother crawler merry Xmas
How heavy was your rig when you installed these? Added much stuff?
It has Beef patties and brass knuckles for added weight so it's a little heavier than stock.
Is the desperado weels fits on the backflips tires?
I totally agree with you these tyres are great on rock and the trail, however on wood especially wet wood not the best, BF Goodrich Krawler's work better for me.
How's the comparison between holmes crawmaster pro on this radon crawler? Aside from price gap? I'm also looking budget motor that match to my hw 1080 for my sxc10v2..
In my newest build I am running a Holmes Hobbies 550 crawlmaster sport 12t and it has way more power than the radon. I haven't ran a crawlmaster 540 can so I don't know how it would compare.
@@rcbasherpodcast898 Thanks for the info bro..nice to know the difference:)
Hey bud are these tires really squishy? I'm looking to replace the wheels on my losi rock rey. The stock tires are absolutely horrible. They are so soft and squishy it rolls over if you breath on it!
I think with the stock foams they would be too soft but with some 2 stage foams or a closed cell foam they would be more what you are looking for.
@@rcbasherpodcast898 ok cool thanks! Yeah that's what someone else had told me too. I appreciate the advice!
I keep hearing that the C rating is just a marketing ploy? Thoughts?
Yeah, it depends on how much current your car pulls. Most cars don't need anything over 50
@@TheShadeManGuitar I'll say this, my Yowoo 4s 6000mAh 100C graphene batteries have way more punch and I get more speed out of my RC vehicles than the Turnigy Rapid 5500mAh 4S2P 140C Hardcase LiPo Battery. Maybe because of the graphene? Some people say that is a gimmick too 🤔
Just replaced my Interco Super Swampers on my Gen 8 Scout for these tires. Can't wait to try them out!
I can see how you guys Break your stuff all the time lol . I'm trying to figure out how in the world you bent your tekno shock towers with m2c Bracing... would be interested seeing the Video on that Crazyness
This ramp sucked it doesn't launch the cars very well. The ramps I have now are better and I have 3 of them so when they are all lined up you can easily hit them faster. Unfortunately we weren't recording when I busted up the Tekno.
Nice bashing with two awesome trucks 👍👍🤙
I am in the process of doing the same upgrades to my new #ARRMA 2018 #KRATON 6s #BLX Truggy :)
Nice conversion man👍👍
What is the tape on the old chassis? Plans to cut it?
No it is just holding the stock dog bone and brace to the chassis.
Awesome video I don't live that far way from Lucia Falls,I should go up there..I go to Blue lake when I can (big mud slide from when the mountain blew) kinda of a drive but worth it
Some nice upgrade 😀
