The korean accent sounds like jung kook tho😂
Thx❤
Wow, that English prose rendered in full, unabashed Russian accent caught me off guard. 🤣🤣 And, thanks for the demonstration!
haha thanks! It's a side effect of having so many Russian-speaking students I guess! I love Slavic type accents, a subtler form of the accent is pretty nice to listen to imo
holy shit your polish accent is so good
haha thanks, do you mean my Polish-accented English or my accent when I'm actually speaking Polish?
@@accentamazing Polish-accented english. It reminded me of my polish friend :)
So glad to see you’re back, have you heard about the oral posture of the American accent ? So basically the sides of your tongue will more or less touch the inside of your molars of all times when you speak …
I actually haven't heard about this. Can you share where you learnt about this? I'm curious!
im korean who has a lot of japanese friends. i def hear more of japanese accent when you tried the korean accent!
Yeah, I'll need to work on my Korean accent more when I have more time. But funnily enough, when I speak Japanese, I sometimes hear myself mixing up Korean phonology in there as well
this AI is so incredibly bad it gets it right maybe 10% of the time from others I have watched
i think its pretty accurate for you!
OMG, how do you learned Polish. I know it too. I am amazed
I lived in Poland for maybe two years on and off since 2019, and I love Slavic languages, so that helped I guess!
Wow very cool video idea!
Oh, Nice tool! Thanks for the review.
Thanks! So yeah, don't worry if it scores you high. I've heard you speak and you sound nothing like my fake Russian accent which still scored 99%. The AI rates its certainty of linguistic background, not the quality or quantity of your accent features
Very nice! 😁
Man you’re awesome! Btw I also heard Japanese when you tried Korean 😂 Could you help teach us, Russian-sounding speakers, to score higher on English? 😊
Thanks! Of course we can work on the specific accent features that are indicators of native-ness. Also, speakers of Russian are my biggest student demographic, so I have lots of lessons specific for Russian speakers and Slavic speakers in general, which is my niche!
btw, my mom also heard Japanese. Although Koreans are always shocked at my pronunciation telling me I sound amazing (Korean phonology was focus of my linguistics degree for university), apparently this does not translate to my imitation skills! 😭
I speak a bit of Polish but I cannot speak English in a Polish accent 😅
Come to Poland! You'll be able to do it in no time! 😉
Jejje no le siento el acento. Sentir el acento es lo que hizo Selena en Emilia Pérez.
That’s really useful! I always feel like something is off when I pronounce these words. Thank you🙏
"ar" "par" "har" modern english is so good
Thank you😊
Brother do we pronounce it as ‘CH RAIN’, completely ignoring the T alphabet sound in the beginning of word Train??
I refuse to Say it like that, it just sounds funny
That’s how natives say it! The dictionary also lists the pronunciation that way: www.wordreference.com/definition/conversation
Dziękuję pana za filmik, ale mi jest potrzebne uczyć Polski, nie nie angielski.
In modern Greek some people pronounce the letter χ as a /k/ and some /x/. I think the /x/ is more common tho
Yes I believe /x/ is common now, but what I really like is how the letter χ in Ancient Greek was aspirated [kʰ] as many English k sounds are, although modern Greek has lost the aspiration
Any video with Old, Over, Cold ?
I haven’t made a video with those but those words do have the same vowel as “only” as well!
The long O isn’t a diphthong in General American English
@@tricky_english Perhaps you're talking about phonologically, yes it can be "considered" theoretically a monophthong, but phonetically and physically it is absolutely a diphthong in American English as well as most types of English dialects - i'll leave this video here because this lady does a great job of illustrating the American /oʊ/ diphthong th-cam.com/video/PAOmKrjVxpg/w-d-xo.html
@@accentamazing The first part and the second part of a diphthong should be used as a single vowel sound. Let’s take the diphthong ou/ow as in house/how. The first part is the short o sound as in hot and the second part is the long OO as in goose, NOT the /ʊ/. I have the cot-caught merger and I don’t use the /ɔ/. The long O as in old, cold, gold, note CANNOT be made with two distinct vowel sounds.
@@tricky_english it seems like you are talking about phonology as I mentioned in the previous response. Yes, the /oʊ/ vowel in "only" and "don't" is cannot be broken down into psychologically distinct phonemes, but phonetically it starts as an [o] and then has an [ʊ] offglide and is therefore in this manner a diphthong. Without that offglide [ʊ] you'd get a Scottish accented "don't" [doːnt]
You have a nice accent but sometimes it can be heard that you are not a native English speaker. You sound asian then.
Whoa!
I apologize, but I had a stroke watching this 😭
good good keep up the good work

My name is Mid Tense but you pronounce it Mittens.
Not Polish, but I have a Polish oc who immigrated to the US when he was 15, and I find it difficult to know for sure how good he would be at English. He is a polyglot who has been heavily immersed in English, and other languages, before they moved, and I do think he would have paid close attention to his pronounication by listening to movies(if he could get them) and youtube videos. Also would talk with English speaking tourists, though that is more because appearently he looks like he is very good at giving directions XD So my idea is that he is fluent, leaning into expert native level, and at his job he pays good attention to how he speaks because he has to be clear, but in private he might slip into those mistakes from time to time again.
it's like Ukrainian "и" and "і"
Perfect thanks from Syria
She is an actress! She did a terrible job. She could have done speech therapy to get much closer. Also Marylin was so much thicker and she should have gained weight. The trailer alone was just awful. Bad casting. Very bad casting!
Should the mouth be more rounded in the second sound ?
