The Delta Sigma Theta Alumnae Sorority is an important part of our HART community. They often hold fundraisers and donation drives to support the unhoused men, women, and children in our neighborhoods. We are happy to present them with the HART Community Leadership Award.

Clinton was a Sac State Student living in hotels just trying to get by. Luckily he got connected to our Transitional Housing Program. Now Clinton is a Sac State Graduate, permanently housed, and employed at SSHH.

It takes a village. We appreciate the continued support of our community. Quick Quack Car Wash has been a longtime partner of SSHH and HART. We are happy to present Travis Kimball and Quick Quack Car Wash with our community appreciation award.

The goal of SSHH’s Permanent Supportive Housing Program is to meet the needs of the most vulnerable people coming from the streets and emergency shelters. We eliminate the barriers to housing that keep these individuals on the streets. Currently, SSHH’s Permanent Supportive Housing Program shelters 200 recently chronically homeless and disabled Sacramento County residents.

By embracing the housing first model, SSHH's Transitional Housing Department helps those that are recently chronically homeless transition to a life of sustainable, permanent, and safe housing through holistic and intensive case management services. Enjoy the inside look!
