Live life. Pass it on.
Every year, hundreds of British Columbians receive an organ transplant at one of BC’s three transplant hospitals. But the need for organ transplants is growing as our population ages and more people are affected by diseases that affect organs. Unfortunately, many people die waiting for a transplant.
You can make a difference by registering your decision for organ donation and then sharing your wishes with your family. The more conversations we have about organ donation at home, at work, and in our communities, the more people will register, which means that more people in BC will get the life-saving transplants they need. Transplant that can give them a second chance at life.
