We stayed in 15504 it had a couch in addition to everything mentioned above. Very impressive and comfortable stay close to the lifts. 🏆

Excellent video. I am so glad you summarised the key point at 7:00 that the balcony may not be necessary as you only sleep there and the entertainment is ALL on the Ship, Lounge, Cinema, Pool, etc! Why spend more unless it's negligible uplift. Our price difference was almost £400 if a Balcony was needed for seven nights per cabin!

Thank you for this amazing Video , regarding booking the ferry from the cruise company does it have any advantage instead of booking the ticket from the tickets offices ? and does the ferry tickets have a specifying time for leaving to/from Capri ?

If you didn’t book an excursion through the ship, how early can you get off the ship? I know they prioritize the people who booked excursions from ship to disembark first, but what about the people who didn’t? 1-2 hours after ship docks?

What cabin did you have please? And was it quiet. Looking to book Iona in July and this will be our first inside cabin.

Had a good time (mostly) on the Iona on it's Christmas cruise to the Canaries. Nothing wrong with our inside cabin. Your description was very helpful and I'd book another cabin like that again. The bathroom/shower function and design was excellent. Plenty of hanging space for the two of us, Although with the wardrobe door open we found it blocked light from the ceiling lamp. Due to possibly a safety issue the cabin door had an extremely strong return spring which may be dangerous to some. As is it turned out the cabin the the best part of the cruise.

On the ship at Christmas. Such an enjoyable review and one which makes us feel we've made the right decision in booking an inside cabin. It's the first inside one we've booked but think that a comfortable bed and shower etc is really all you need. Everything else is the same for everyone. Nice people, the sort we'd be pleased to share a table with. Many thanks.

We were on this cruise and tbh it was the best cruise we have been on. Entertainment 100% Weather 100% other guests 100% Karaoke every night and it was just a fab atmosphere...Off again on Princess on the 27th September and just cant wait...

I have 3 quick questions. 1.Was there a shuttle to pick you up at the port and drop you off at the train station? 2.Did the Train had A/C ? 3.How much time do you have to explore and is it enough ?

A great video you two! I hope you enjoyed your journey to Rome. It looks like a long journey from the port. Me and the Mrs. are headed that way shortly on Wonder. Would you suggest the tour offered by Royal? What time did you depart and what time did you get back to the ship? Thanks, a lot more useful information than some cabin reviews ! We have just returned from our first cruise, in an upgraded balcony cabin on the Azura, which we were very impressed with. And now contemplating the Iona, but in a more affordable way to allow our money to perhaps stretch further to allow more cruises. By choosing an inside cabin what percentage do you think you saved over paying for a balcony one?

Did the train go to the monument or did you make your own way there, it poured down on the morning we were in Haugesund so back to the ship and after lunch was beautiful weather so we stayed on the ship.

Great video - we were very impressed with the inside cabin we had on Iona which was also our first inside. We found the storage far more useful/accessible than in the balcony we had last year. Unless we go to the Fjords on her, all future cruises on Iona will be in a standard inside.

On this in the final week in June. Looking forward to it.
