The Dancing Sun Farm/Ranch is located in the Texas Hill Country. We currently raise sheep, goats, and chickens. We starting this next chapter in our lives after 28 years in the military. The owners of the ranch are graduates of the Texas A &M Battleground to Breaking Ground program for transitioning veterans from the military to farming/ranching. We currently own 4 Navajo churro ewes and 6 goats and 30 chickens. We are members of the Farmer Veteran Coalition and Navajo Churro Association. Follow the Dancing Sun Farm as we set up gardens, fix fences and raise the livestock

Electric Fence on ROCK

In this video, we demonstrate how to install a mesh electric fence on hard ground and how to graze on an easement. We used only 165 electric fence to graze. We normally use about 500-1000 feet of fencing.

Churro Sheep and Angora Goats need to be shorn twice a year. These animals must be shorn for their safety welfare. The lake is east north of Santa Fe and east of Espanola New Mexico. I used to fish in this lake when I was Joshua's age. I have fond memories of my father taking me and my brothers to this lake.

Vacuum leaks were easy to fix with some silicon sealant. Put an air filter on the outside so you don't have to take the panels off to clean the fins. Our heater relay failed at 10 month point;. tech support is hit/miss. Nothing more frustrating than when you know what failed, you have an appointment with a tech at HR, and they never call.
Nice comparison. I have the medium black w/premiere pump, been using for about 2 months. Some people say these things give them trouble. Good to see someone buying a 2nd one, after enjoying their first one.
I'm leary of freeze drying cooked eggs. worried about the texture I guess. I currently have 9 dozed raw eggs powdered and stored in Mylar and quart jars.

@@dancingsunfarm Yes i always prefreeze everything. Drying time for 6 dozen in my medium was around 28 hours.

Thanks for commenting! We will clean the wool first for all burrs and grass take it to a mill near here where they will wash and turn into either yarn (more expensive) or felting which we will in turn spin into yard on our spinning wheel, yes we will show the process as well.
