I just sat down and listened to this song and I cried. Because these were the only voices we heard in the darkness of our homes especially in the beginning. The people on the radio.. it was an outlet for information. It was through them we learned how big the devastation was.. it was community drawing together in the darkness of the day when people had no power nor cell service. They were an outlet for information.. where help was available every day. They broadcasted the news releases. It was an outlet for people to call and look for loved ones, Or just to talk, to ask for help or even offer help. I'm so glad my little boombox I had was battery operated... it kept me going in those dark days.
This song hit home for all of us thanks to everyone the radio people the first responders thank you Nick we love it
Love the song, I've been playing it on the job for ppl. much love from me Sam, Raiden and Michael.
Wow. This is haunting and beautiful. Thank you 🙏❤️
Sending prayers for you in NC and anywhere there is suffering
This song took me back to those first 48hrs after the storm hit. No internet, no power, no water. All we had was our faith in God and our family and an emergency radio that kept us informed, Mark Starling kept us going reassuring us all was gonna be OK and kept broadcasting trying to connect folks with their loved ones. I'll never forget this and I'm forever thankful
wonderful.
Can't stop listening! Thanks iheart from the bottom of my 💙
I live just down the mountain in Caldwell County, this song is so powerful. The work isn't done but we are still praying for everyone. We got bad damage but nothing like you guys.

This song pays so much respect to those that were our eyes and ears during search and rescue, checking on neighbors both known and unknown. Thank you!!!
Last all contact with my mom all day that Friday, finally heard from her late Friday night. (She lives in Old Fort and works in Black Mtn normally 20 min commute) She needed her meds and had no way home so my bro and I detoured four hours… saw a lot of horrific things from Asheville east into black mtn but we made it. Departed Old Fort at midnight, got back home around 8am.
No words.
Hearing this song on the radio made me think about how this affected so many other people. It was hard for me to grasp for a month or so but looking back I can understand the scale of the hurricane. When my family were leaving Asheville, I was thinking of my immediate family and friends; but when we returned, I thought “I wish I stayed and helped instead of leaving.” Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine that I would live in the middle of a natural disaster. God bless the ones who did stay and help those who couldn’t get away. All who died, did in one of the worst circumstances. They had to fight debris, water, and the elements until they didn’t have any more in them. No one deserved to go through this.
💔
Great song buddy. This hits home.
Love you son
Nick and company, you really outdid yourselves with this one! It truly brings me back to those first few days and weeks, and although it’s incredibly emotional to go back there…it’s also heartwarming to remember how each community pulled together and how everyone was looking out for each other and doing what they could to help their neighbor. We will be forever changed by Hurricane Helene. This is a beautiful tribute ❤
Beautiful song! Thank you!
We got there as soon as we could to help and I can't even express the hell we drove into and did our best to find as many people and check on families and distribute supplies and well keep coming back till the works done
🙏🏽♥️

This song captures perfectly what people were feeling, experiencing and how they were looking to the amazing Radio Ranch group that were immediately broadcasting on AM/FM radio 24/7 to connect them to missing relatives, friends and any information to guide them to a safe recovery.
