The wet season in Cambodia causes lots of colds and sinus infections. I believe that mold spores are responsible for a lot of illnesses. I know mold spores during the spring in the States cause lots of illnesses and allergic reactions. I am not a doctor, but i think mold spores are a part of these illnesses.
300 for locals, but maybe 3000 for foreigners?
Ours is 7000 PHP APROX $115 usd
Would you be confident using this hospital for a serious illness or injury?
Doctors in the provinces lack medical advance knowledge & hospitals are ill equipped. Same in some cities.
Dont have gullblander sugery 5000$ usd med etc
I love the Philippines and it's people, but I really do not trust the medical care. I had a good friend living there who developed a problem due to diabetes. I encouraged him to come back to the states or even to Guam, but he did not want to leave his wife for a time. It ended up killing him. With care at an American hospital, he would have been fine. I kinda know, because my father was a physician and I was in the medical field for a number of years. That's my only suggestion, if it is a serious health condition, stick to American.
@@johnl9977He did not go to Manila?? St. Luke’s, BGC, Philippines had excellent Physicians, same with USA, please do not criticize Philippines Healthcare, it depends on the person decision, money problem. Therefore, anywhere you go, each person should research the Healthcare of each countries visiting, get a Travel Insurance, get a medical clearance before moving to any country, you should have good immune, especially senior citizen with chronic diseases. Different countries, different climate, different disease he he did not seek medical attention, diabetes is controlled or treated, if the person likes to prolong his life. It’s all personal preferences. Health is wealth.
@@marianeil6630 Not the same as developed countries. That's the reason rich Filipinos goes to the US or Singapore cuz healthcare in the US & other developed countries are way better. Newly released medications are not available. Plus going to St. Lukes, you need a lot of money. In fact a friend was in ICU for 3 weeks & his total bill was $70K. Dollars, not Pesos.
Simple ailment is cheap. It's when you have complicated problem that will cost you a lot of money.
No doubt
But then this is true anywhere, but in terms of costs when compared to US Health system, its way more expensive even when covered by insurance
@@EmptyNesters24 Not if you have health insurance or Medicare.
@@JunRoss-pp3mv In 2024, the out-of-pocket limit for Medicare Advantage plans is $8,850 for in-network services and $13,300 for in-network and out-of-network services combined. In the Philippines a back surgery for example average about $2500 out of pocket cost. Just saying, I get insurance, however there is a deductable you have to pay out of pocket that still is very costly that still exceeds what you pay without insurance in the Philippines.
@@JunRoss-pp3mvRemember, this is misconception, Medicare is not free, okay, only Medicare Part A, the rest, you have to pay co payments, some diagnostic test, needs a prior authorization from your Health Insurance. In addition, Eye Care, and dental will be pay separately. Once, you received or reach your retirement certain age or with Disability, then you could apply for benefits, it’s not free okay, FYI
For guys in hospital when your day of discharge is coming ask for bill pay in advance so you won't have any issues with paperwork or payments on the day of discharge you could be waiting hours many storys .bless
what do they call this build in the philippines ? ive searched and cant find any info .. we live in cebu and would like to do a build like this .
How much ? Gepends what you are looking for .
I just got back from north of Iligan city. Went out to eat at a nice cafe like that. The total for two people was just over $8 USD. We eat all we wanted I was kinda shocked after Just think did we just do that.
OMG. Two struts with labor in the US would probably be $1,000.
I just subscribed to your channel looking at maybe coming there when retiring in about 5 years thank you so much for the information
God bless you for subscribing 👍 🙏
Sounds like they slapped new pads on, was that price for the fronts and back? They should of replaced the rotors and serviced your caliappers and parking brakes and test drove your car to propper wear in the brake pads,. It doesn’t sound like it as you mention the time it took for the job. I also wonder what brand of pads they installed, I know retired and living in the Philippines there are plenty of fake Chinese parts there. I took my Honda CRV to the Honda dealership in Santa Rosa, lets say it reminded me i was back in Canada. You had to make an appointment, they did half of their check list , they over charged and they stole most of my loose change i had in the car.
Are you buying a garage?
Yes Of course isn't everyone.
Good video. I like seeing them with costs. Western countries have to much overhead Building, insurance, taxes, heating or cooling. Millions in the latest tools.
In the states all that may take 2 hours , cost three times as much depending on where u go done by one person they dont help one another
keep your pigpen clean daily,
Why would a struggling Filipino Have 14 Dogs?, Does the foreigner contribute some financial help and food, I am a Pet lover, I love Dogs..😢 🙏.
Did you not watch all of the video?
Filipina was simply referring to all the greenery absorbing and filtering... not one specific plant. Plants in general filter the air toxins
😍😍😍😍😍
It was so nice hearing Steven's Story and your connection together
What is that plant that filters from this swine flu
I don't get why so many dogs?
Security Reasons
@@TheCostOfLiving- Way way to many dogs running all over barangy and the beaches no controll of the dogs. Security is one of the last things. These dogs hurt more inocennt people than they help.

That karioki is enough to drive you crazy.
Lies! That house is more than 400 pesos a month. And you left out how expensive it is in the Philippines. People are leaving for Thailand, Cambodia and Viet Nam. Everything is a hassle in the Philippines. You need the patience of a saint to even eat out there. These videos are so misleading.
Sorry to bust your negative bubble but it's absolutely true

I never considered YT as a revenue source. The YT lotto will keep you jumping up down and side ways. Algorithms and rules always changing. I thought folks came to escape all that carrot chasing. I use YT as a hobby, to play with new technologies (AI, capcut etc.), for family and friends to see my travels, and as a FREE hosting site. YT sent me an invitation to join, I deleted it. I don't need a master. Thanks for the video. Nice to see an honest one on YT for once.
If I watch the whole video at a faster speed, are you credited with a complete view?
Great question, I'm not sure but my guess would be yes

Hey guys... Loved the video, your friend is beautiful as is her house. Im planning on relocating to the Philippines in just a few weeks and would love the opportunity to get to know her. Im a decorator by trade and id be happy to make this house into her dream home! 1st job though, politeley ask the neighbours to have a bit of respect. I always liked this about the provinces, the playing of classic 80's hits in the background , but this was ridicuous, i could feel the walls shaking from back here in the UK. :) Be amazing if you could introduce me!

seems alot harder than is told. then you are right. it is seen why some youtubers get in a certain “genre” to make it and some not of a good genre
I'm from the Philippines -- the 7$ rent is a lie. You cant even get that amount unless you are a squatter and just paying for the illegal electricity connection. And I didnt really watch the video so I dont really know what the context is
It's too bad you didn't watch the video because it's actually TRUE... it's only actually less than $7 it was $5 and something per month and it's absolutely true you should watch the video.
And you can see the full interview with the home owner who talks about it and how it is possible on our other channel call filipina and the foreigner.

Some very poor mother's are being given homes in Tacloban city. They pay about 500 pesos a month for twenty five years. Then they get full ownership. I know a woman who got one of these houses.

A local Filipino can't afford most of the expenses in the Philippines, foreigners can afford it of course. Your budget don't make sense, compared to a local Filipino income.
