Powerfulness from within

As a child my mother would sing this while working at home. That was in the 1930's. I can still hear her voice in memory. This hymn and others ,have become indelibly etched into my recollective mind. Am now 93 years old and have never forgotten any of them. So mothers, give your children an everlasting gift -- as my mother did. AMEN

When my wife an I came away from the Jehovah's Witnesses 40 years ago and became Born again Christians and attended a Christian church. This was the FIRST Hymn we heard! It was a SHOCK at first as the JW's don't believe in the Trinity. But it is now my FAVOURITE hymn of all time!!
