People will complain about Top Boy Season 5 having 6 episodes as if every Peaky Blinders series doesn't also have 6 episodes and is far better than Top Boy. Furthermore, Top Boy Season 5 is closer to a Peaky Blinders season than any other season before. People don't like that season 5 had a very clear objective and path and that it focused on what it needed and wanted to focus on to craft an ending series. People act as if season 4 didn't have deplorable arcs: literally every single fucking story in season 4 is bad except for Sully's arc - because Sully is the best character in the entire show. Not even Jaimie can carry the boring Spanish arc. Tia and Steffan 💀💀💀 Having Jaimie and Kitt die because of fucking Ats - probably the worst character in the show besides Tia or maybe season 2 RaNel. Shelly's blackmail arc. LAURYN AND THE LIVERPOOL GANG 🤣🤣 Season 4 was fucking disgraceful. This season is 50x better in every single way. Its arguably the best season and the only one that comes close is season 3. That last scene between Dushane and Sully behind the gate is heartbreaking. Dushane and Sully's conclusions are great. Steffan's arc is amazing, which is a huge surprise, because I thought he would be the obnoxious wannabe thug. But him and Dris' daughter are really cute. Especially when they mention how they lost family to Sully, but they find solace in the fact that they are better than Sully and keep their moral integrity. Even Steffan at the end looking like Jaimie when he confronts Sully but realising that Sully is barely human anymore and Steff doesn't want to go down that path or suffer like Si did or his brother. The only criticisms are that Jaq's arc was structured really badly. Lauryn should have died mid way in the series and the baby should have been called Jack and then Jaq should have stolen the drugs as an attempt to ease her guilty conscience. Jaq stealing drugs, despite her knowing that people have been killed by Sully for doing far less, and then trying to justify it, is some stupid shit. Another criticism is Dushane's blatant murder, which feels sloppy for his character. But people fail to recognise how it links to the overall downfall his character suffers in this season. He loses his business, his money, his gf and the anger of losing everything that makes him act out of pure unbridled rage. Ashley Walters, who produces the show also follows this analysis of his character to justify the character's actions in a recent GQ video. It felt rushed but at the same time I’m not hating. What it did show that at the end of the day DRUGS will f**k up not only your life but the lives around you

I haven't listened to the whole video and I'm not sure I will because of the amount of inaccuracies I've already heard. Everyone has their own opinion and I'm not challenging that, but for the record, the first scene was the aftermath of Sully killing Jamie. That then led to one of the most powerful scenes for me, with Sully telling Dushane to step back. Also a lot of Top Boy scenario's are based on true stories. Such a crap ending to an amazing show! Once Jamie and Modie died in the first 2 Netflix seasons, I knew it was gonna go downhill

The writers did Dushane and Jaq dirty this season but I did read that it was different writers to the the previous two seasons. The production budget was clearly priority, but I would have taken 8-10 less plush looking episodes tbh if they wanted to tie up loose ends and flesh out characters properly.

They need to redo that season 🙃

U guys keep saying "added to the list"...but u don't watch em after u add em to the list though. Instead u watch these ones that nobody recommended. It wasn't a good movie, and was also a remake, which almost always suck. The actor acts well though......in everything else.

Well Flashback is a mind-fuck of a movie it fucks with your mind and man I loved it so much and the acting is so great and watch it with a commentary from the director he explains it. It's about the path we go in life and that in the beginning he did not like the life he had It's just really hard to explain it but at the end Love your mother she can help you take the right path in your life.

Feel like the acting is suberb, maybe worse from the older gangster guys. Only thing i disagree with here tbh, paddy consadines acting in this is top tier personally. He captures that feeling of controlled rage so well.
