Exploring Wei Shabong & Wei Sted Falls along with Asia's cleanest village Mawlynnong village
Hello everyone! I hope you're all doing well. Welcome to the second part of our journey. In this video, we're exploring Asia's cleanest village, Mawlynnong, along with two hidden, offbeat waterfalls: Wei Shabong Falls and Wei Sted Falls.
These waterfalls aren't typical tourist spots, so I highly recommend visiting them with a local guide, just as we did. During our one-night trip to Meghalaya, we stayed at Ker-Hiam Homestay. The owner, who is also a knowledgeable local guide, took us to these stunning waterfalls.

It's too cold there, so the summer season is the best time to visit as you can experience more greenery. If you visit in winter, you'll need more clothes, and your bags will be heavier, making your hiking journey more difficult.

The vehicle charge is ₹3000, regardless of the number of people. If you're a couple, you can join another group and share the cost. The guide will manage everything, so you don't need to worry. However, if you'd prefer not to join a group, that's entirely up to you.

Bro I haven't enquired about raincoat. As I suggested in my video, book a homestay nearby Zakhama or Vishwema. You can ask anything to the homestay owner, as they are local so they knows everything. But if you book a room in Kohima, they might not know about all these.

Come by train. Just outside railway station,there is Khm taxi stand... Cost about ₹350 ish? Then take a taxi again from ISBT (will cost ₹350-500 but ÷ it among your friends) to thr nearest hotel.

Could you please let me know what the price of a shared taxi from Dimapur station to the homestay is??
I don't think shared taxi will be available upto the homestay. You'll get shared taxi only upto Kohima. From kohima you'll have to book private taxi. For any query you ask the homestay owner, if you book this homestay. He is very helpful person trust me
