    I'm and incomplete SCI patient with L3 - L5 injury. I had complications after my first surgery and as a result had compression on my cord for 8 days between the first and second surgery. I didn't start feeling hardly any neuropathic pain in the first month. Then slowly it got worse and worse. Fast forward 2 years and today it's horrible. I'm on the maximum level of all the usual medications such as Gabapentin, Pregabalin and most recently a high level of Methadone because it worked far better than Hydromorphone did. I can't take anything more than I'm taking and I'm too young for Fentanyl patches so I'm left living most of my day in bed because activity seems to excite my nerves and makes the pain far worse. If I don't do much other than just moving around my home in the day I'm still left with being up most night all night with stabbing and burning pains in my legs, hips and groin area for hours on end. Eventually it relents and I pass out from exhaustion. If I have activity in the day like attending a doctors appointment then the pain is more intense and lasts longer in duration. I also have terrible muscle spasticity in my legs that is extremely painful when it happens. Something that is very strange is rubbing certain parts of my legs makes me have a sensation in my lower leg or feet and can sometimes be felt on the opposite side in the other leg. I have no idea how this is possible but it's just another crazy thing with spinal cord injury. The physical impairments are nothing for me to work around but this chronic neuropathy is terrible and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. I really hope there is a solution for me one day, or my pain changes with time so it isn't as bad as it is today. I just wanted to post my experience here so that others that have it as bad as me, know they aren't alone. I wish EVERYONE who is suffering from SCI related pain all the best.

      Hey! thanks for commenting. I really appreciate hearing your experience. I'm really sorry to hear about your troubles. It sounds incredibly tough, and I can relate to the constant pain and challenges of managing neuropathy! it's frustrating. I've also found that activity can worsen my pain, and it's frustrating to feel so limited, especialy when my brain wants to be more active than my body allows. I hope that we both find some relief or new treatments in the near future. Thank you for sharing your story-it's comforting to know we're not alone in this. If you need to connect or have any questions, feel free to reach out to info@sciontario.org --- thanks, Oda

      @CedroCron 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@CortreeTV Oda, thanks for reaching out I appreciate it. I am in contact with my local contact for SCI Ontario and unfortunately for me activity worsens my pain. I continue to work with my pain clinic and team of doctors to best control my pain. I'm hoping for future medications and treatment options to become available and I'm about to try Ketamine infusion therapy at Toronto Western Hospital. (OHIP Covered). If that doesn't work then I'll continue to hope my pain gets better with time. I just posted my comment because I didn't want anyone to feel like they were alone if activity and other options wasn't working for them as it hadn't for me. Have a great day and thanks for all the good information you have contributed in the videos. I appreciate all of your efforts to help our community.

    My mx2 battery finally died and will not take a charge. Lasted almost 8 years. I was told i needed to update it with the newest technology or get a new mx2+. My insurance paid for the new mx2+ and i hate it. They discontinued the new watches because of all the problems they have so i was stuck with a speed dial that wouldn't connect with the app to adjust the speed so i disassembled the 4 day old mx2+, took the battery out and swapped it into my old mx2. (Permobil said the batteries are different and will not work) It works perfectly and only took 10 minutes to swap. Anyone can do it. Now my mx2 is back to life, and i have new replacement parts from the mx2+ when ever i need them. Lol If anyone wants to know about the simplicity of the mx2 and the 1 button Bluetooth wristband. Its like this. Push the button on and the smartdrive is ready to go, Push the wheels and the smartdrive keeps that speed, push faster to go faster. 1 tap disengages the smartdrive. I never have to worry about some app, never worry about a watch battery needing to be charged daily or more. My original wristband battery will last a few weeks without being charged. Ive never had a problem with the wristband not connecting with the smartdrive since i got it in 2016.

    Very interesting! Any issues using the product used? Did it last? I dislike going through my roho's every few years and with the price, wished they lasted much longer. EDIT: 1/6/24 Purchased a cheap facial ($6 at store) and tried it this am. Put a thin layer on first, then read to see how long it takes to dry. Bottle says until you feel it or 30 minutes, so I simply put some on my nose. When it dried I checked the cushion and applied a 2nd layer. Gave it another 30 min and now I'm sitting on it. Been good all day so far! Thank you for posting this. I think I will add a 3rd layer before I go to bed. Again, thank you for posting this!!

    I am Fused from C2 to T3 on top of that I had three bone spurs growing into my spinal cord. I take five 10 mg Norco’s a day I often run out early because it takes about 8 a day. I’ve been on them for over 10 years now. Every month I fall short, I can never make them last the whole month, and I can’t smoke pot because I get drug tested every three months or so but I have smoked it and it did help me. I noticed that my spasms were much less. I would love to quit those Narcos, but it’s hard to let them go because they do help me they give me a life, but they’re more of a stigma than pot is anymore. I would love to only rely on pot, but I have to give it at least a week of doing nothing, but smoking instead of taking the pills. Plus, I’m not a big fan of getting high I don’t like it I don’t like the feeling but it does make the pain and the tremors much less. I honestly don’t feel high with the pills. I don’t know what the big deal is with this epidemic because I can honestly tell you that I don’t feel a high. My high is when I can go outside and split wood for the woodstove. Without them I can’t do that. I even run a chainsaw during the summer. Without them There is no way in hell I could do that. I’m stuck in my bed without those pills. But pot does get me out of the bed as well. I live in a state where it’s still illegal. I hope this makes sense to somebody

They won’t let me try it, so if we could message about some of its other capabilities, like like how it works on rough terrain, ability to work in snow, not blizzards but snow and a few other things I would be really appreciative.

      What's up Mindy! Thanks for reaching out. You should join our FB Marketplace group, we get a lot of buy/sell/donate and we've had a few almost new ones go for good prices! it doesn't work well in snow (none of the front power assists do, to be fair) and it works okay on "rough" terrain like grass but not gravel. If you have further questions feel free to reply here or email us at info@sciontario.org and ask any specific questions :) Thanks, Oda

    Since thousands of years (Egypt!) the optimal manner to overcome not only occasional constipation but chronic constipation too will be taking castor oil, so this manner would be the best for the paraplegic constipation too. Remember that castor oil is the only laxative that will not work in the intestines by irritating them, but by activating and synthesizing certain substances in the human body. So any habituation of the human body or diminishing laxative effect is absolutely impossible and castor oil is suitable in a special manner for chronic constipation. Take 1 tablespoon (15 ml) castor oil early in the morning on an empty stomach; eventuelly later a second tablespoon castor oil.

    Thank you for this video, it’s really helpful. I’d like to see what you think of the Eco Assist because I’m considering getting one - the PAWS is outside my budget unfortunately.

    Thank you for this review. It is very well made, straight forward and covers most of what this device is about. I think I will ask Adi to send you some accessories for review. We have a great pump which is handy if you are off road and want to lower Tyre pressure for better traction, a basket for over the front wheel - handy for shopping or day trips - also adding a little weight over the wheel helps with traction. There is also a rear light package that is required for use in Germany. I love to see you wearing the "SKID LID". If nor driven carefully any three device can tip, especially on cambered sidewalks and going around reverse cambered turns. SAFERY FIRST!Drive within the limits of rhe environment and driving strength and skill 😮 Regarding price, the Tourer is 20" and at the top end of rhe PAWS range. We go down to PAWS 12" City, very good for the CBD driver with a short wheelbase - think schools, libraries, lifts, restaurants and crowded pavements

      Oops sent to soon. City is also in 14" and thr we go to Ctuiser at 16". This is my favorite all rounder size. Prices jump according to size ans Auto or Manual set up.

      If you like to communicate on other Rehasense product reviews I really like you frank and clear delivery. We also like critical reviews to help us improve so maybe soon we have a "klaxon" rubber squeeze horn...they will hear that 😂😊

      @@rogerdutton4130 Thanks, Roger! I appreciate you checking out the review. The PAWS is an awesome device that will give many people a sense of freedom they never thought possible -- and that's truly a beautiful thing that I appreciate! MeThinks that Klaxon squeeze horn will be a hit! lol. Cheers -- Oda
