I am primarily a self-taught woodworker who gained majority of my knowledge through the trial and 'terror' method. I prefer experimentation over formal training as any mishap becomes a creative opportunity. My preference is using domestic and exotic hardwoods in their natural state and colour. My latest experiments have been into resin casting that will enhance or focalize the wood imperfection as well as allow me to use new raw materials such as pine cones or seed pods.
I started the woodworking venture in 2006 focusing on custom made furniture. I have created bathroom vanities, chest of drawers, and blanket boxes. However, as time progressed I shifted my focus to more personal items that can be used daily. That’s when I discovered the writing instruments: wooden bodied pencils; rollerball, fountain, and ballpoint pens.
I recently acquired my first machine that includes CNC, Laser engraves and 3D printer. Lots of opportunities for learning and development await.

The music choice did it for me! Hahaha thanks for the video.
Thinking about it in terms of glue thickness was just the idea I needed. I've been struggling with bleed-through/poor adherence on some mahogany veneer for some time. My method for achieving consistent glue volume differs a lot from yours, but the idea is the same :) Thanks for the idea.
And can I carve an sty relief?
Lovely tutorial.... Can I ask what the cone is made of
Excellent - just what I was looking for - thanks
What can we do if we don’t have those tools to remove the wood?
Ehhhh....that will break again. You should have replaced the bottom wood with 1 inch wood......then, it wouldn't break. The paint you could homedepot color match it........not a big deal.
Hi, sorry ...but never wear Glove at rotating Drills ;-)
Great music 🙂
Dear, I am one of your subscribers and I find it interesting since I have the original and the 350 from Snapmaker but please, change the background music that doesn't fit with the video.
Nice one sir
Thank you so very much for taking the time and effort to share your thought process and steps. Now, I'll know where to look when my waste board gets too ugly from all my mishaps figuring depth of cuts!
I'm glad my videos are helpful. Stay tuned for the next episode where I do a copmletely different type of a wasteboard.
THANK YOU!!!🙌🙌🙌👏👏👏
Keep it up sir
Could you tell me the name of the clamps you're using there, or where to buy them? They look like they work so well.
Hi Mariusz: the clamps are called "4 way equal pressure" and you can search by that name. I got mine from the US probably 8 to 10 years ago so nowadays the look and feel may be different.
Nice explanation 👌
Thank you, I'm glad you liked it. I plan to put more photography videos when I get to take more commercial shots of my products. Stay tuned :-)
Keep it up sir

Nice honest video. We all have failures if we actually do things.
Thank you! Pls dont forget the 'snapmaker waste board' series :)
I haven't forgotten, but it might take me a while as I"m getting busy with the Holiday Season that is coming up. My video tomorrow will have more details.
TOP quality my friend! Congratulations! Congratulations for your support for the kids cancer
Thank you so much!!! Brilliant suggestions to do the things!!!
hello, koka-bora Creations, first of all, great video, it was very clear and help me figure out some cloudy things i had not completly understood. I'm currently working on a way to make the snapmaker A350 turn in a loop for demosntration( with the laser cutting module and with the laser off) do you know if it's possible to make a loop in G-code or even better directly with the snapmaker Luban software. Hope you can still view the comment on old video !
Hi Ulysse, are you able to give me more details about the loop? Something along the lines of how long the loop should last? Do you want a specific range of motions?
@@KokaBoraCreations thank you for the answer ! The loop i am trying to make is an equivalent of a for or while. The goal is just to repeat a certain action for a demonstration of the machine. I am currently just writing the same path over and over with a pause in between but I was just wondering if, rather than rewriting the same action I could make an equivalent of a “for” or a “while” in g-code.
Hi Ulysse: please check out my new video th-cam.com/video/DngH-0dfpms/w-d-xo.html where I talk about the loops and how to make/fake them.

Hello Sir, is it possible to show how to machine a new MDF 16mm wasteboard? Thank you! I want to replace the original from one more rigid and personalize it with my name - you can do a video DIY for one of 16mm thickness and then personalize it with your channel name "Koka-Bora Creations". Thank you so much! If you can share the cnc file would be much appreciated! Thank you
This is a good idea. I would need to do some research and experimentation. Once the video is out, I will put the link here as well :-)
Hi Marcelo - the first video in the wasteboard series is up and you can watch it here th-cam.com/video/bZ6QAtjEkxw/w-d-xo.html
Good tip Stefan.
I basically use the same method. I try to avoid large blobs though, as they tend to still be liquid inside, and there's a high risk of that liquid glue to ooze out when trying to remove it. If you have large blobs, you used too much glue. ;) The glue should have a rubber-like consistency all the way through. If done right, you should be able to start at one end and basically peel the glue off like a piece of tape, lifting the squeeze-out by just sliding the chisel/scraper underneath. And yes, if you wait too long, the glue hardens and becomes very hard to remove without risking to cut into the wood itself. Also, the chisel shouldnt be too sharp. If it is, you risk it digging in to the wood. Funny story: When making the table top for my assembly table (40mm wide strips of plywood laminated together on end for a total width of 84cm), I used an old chisel I got from my father when he moved from his house (that he build himself) to an appartment to scrape off the squeeze-out. I didn't think much of it, until I watched one of James Hamilton's (Stumpy Nubs) videos on chisels. It turned out to be a Marples Blue Chip, one of the original ones from Sheffield, not one of the new Chinese Irwin ones. XD No wonder the Irwin Marples I bought looked so familiar. They share the overall design and shape, but doesn't have the white ring at the base of the handle.
yes, I have the tendency to use a tad bit more glue and I put glue on both mating surfaces so that's probably why I have bigger blobs. I also try to "burst" the blobs first to get the majority of the liquid glue out and collected (impossible sometimes in inside drawer corenrs where it creates more mess than it should). That's a interesting story - you may be having a treasure in your hands with that original piece 🙂
I never get the outside bowl right. I'll try your method! Thanks
Let me know how it works out. 😀
Keep it up stay connected God Bless sir
Thank you, I will
Which laser module are you using? 10W or 1600mW?
Right now I'm using the 1.6W. I'm trying to get the 10W in the near future (near is the keyword) 🤣
I have this machine too, but so far I've only used the 3DP and Laser modules. I just don't know where to start with the CNC - seems like a huge learning curve. Thanks for taking the time to share your knowledge. I will be back to learn more.
The CNC is fairly new to me too and there's definitely some learning curve. I'm hoping my videos will get you on the path of enjoying the CNC.
Accurate work sir keep it up
Thanks and welcome
Keep it up

Great video about relief carve for Snapmaker an Inkscape! Do we need though to set up Inkscape to work with Snapmaker?
They work independently. You create your image in Inkscape (and save it as scalable vector graphic); then you import the image in the Snapmaker Luban software and you adjust your settings.
Nice video. Good info, thank you for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Amazing Work! Thank you so much. It is beautiful. My father would be very happy to know that the trees he cared for and nurtured were used to make something so artistic and creative.
Thank you very much!
Great use of scraps!
I think so too!
So awesome
Looking forward to Pt 2 :)
Hey there., Knowing how long it takes to create a video like this, and the effort you put in to it, just wanted to take the time to hive you a massive 'high-five'. And we certainly need more informative Snapmaker specific content, so thank you for that too. (Found you via Snapmaker's twitter shoutout)
Thank you. I think the editing took a lot longer than the actual filming. As I do more projects, I will post more videos. What would be some of the topics you'd be interested in?
@@KokaBoraCreations Seeing the process from start to finish is just really helpful for any sorts of projects. And knowing the issues you ran in to and how you overcame them is extremely valuable/good content. Keep of the great work my friend!
Gotta love that Mozart 👍
It does look really cool 😎
