With sims like this do you think the developers have interacted or even driven each one of the cars they featured? I can’t imagine they have. If I were to develop a sim racing title I would insist that at least a few members of my team actually spent time on track and around every car that makes it into the game.

How do you know if it’s working or if you need to mess with the ini ?

I have the Alpha and the new update has made what was a great wheel into a piece of $hit. It no longer feels and planted to the road and feels like is floating above the road surface.... I did the app.ini adjustment and then had to do a league race last night at Spa and the first 2/3rd of the race it felt like it had zero ffb and i was 3 to 4 secs of the pace what i normally could do..... (I actually did have some but if was super light), then towards the end of my race the ffb kicked in, but was not to its normal inputs and i picked up 2 to secs but still not feeling correct.. I presume the base was doing an update in the background while I was racing as the change happened when i pitted. After taking fuel and tyres the car dropped off jacks and I could change gears, and move the wheel but the game would not release me from my pit box for about 25 secs. When it did I had stronger ffb... Did a complete uninstall and reinstall after the race and it got better again, but its still so flighty under change of direction or even heavy breaking.... What a balls up from Simagic to release such a update without a patch to fix and return setting to where we would normally have them.

Is tripples better without surround? I use surround and play iracing. Whats the benefit of no surround?

i'm the one who comment about your toyota vios from sg to phuket.I realised i use another youtube account rip. About cpu , maybe i assume that your cpu is k version, it normally tend to overheat so hot, go bios undervolt the watt because default itself load too high. Not only, i also undervolt the gpu on mis afterburner software so it will go smooth on long run. My current is now i5 13500 with rtx 3070 and 16gb run very decent enough. Cpu cooler you buy cheaper one like mirage 240 still good enough and easy to install unlike expensive corsair cpu cooler because its just overhype and waste money and cannot last long because i have used two time corsair .

I have the same setup except I have a quest 3. I tried everything and I get 90fps until I get into the car and it drops to 45. Not sure what I’m doing wrong

As a GT only driver I am used to racing bottom split prototypes so when I am racing with people who know what they are doing I am just getting in the way. Bottom split plebs go straight to a prototype without racing a GT 1st so because they do not know the line GT's are going to take they just become wreckless. Also I am sorry to upset anyone but I Hate Lmp2 drivers

I dont think there needs to be a minimum irating but I think it wouldnt be hard to have similar rated drivers in all classes in the same split. If theres a 5k sof in gtp and gt3 then needs to be 5k in lmp2. No reason for 5k gt3 guys to have to race with 2k lmp2s

If you're racing IMSA as a GT3 then you have to go into it with a different mindset than if you're racing GT3 fixed or VRS. You have to be aware of you're surroundings and be learn when and where to let the faster cars go by. Learn wider lines so you don't lose too much time when the LMP's and GTP's inevitably dive the inside. IMSA racing is great when you know what to expect and learn to race cleanly. See too many GT3's changing lines and blocking faster classes and then they cry when they get punted. I started doing IMSA this season as my main series as a GT3 and it's been some of the safest racing I've had on the service. LMP2 class is now dead so you're going to get low SOF's for them.

I Race IMSA as GT3 and GTD/LMDH, My biggest danger is always the GT3 and/or lmp2. If you are slower class then expect the faster cars to go by. It requires more skill to drive a slower car among the faster cars, cause it requires you to be able to read the traffic from behind. Now some of the incidences you show in the clip are lack of multiclass driving ability... there is not much assistance from the gt3's, the first one is 100% you moving out when traffic is approaching, if you were in that LMDH you would have to slam the brakes to avoid that collision, you are moving in an unpredictable way, yes that were the line you usually take, but a car just passed there, there is probably another one coming, and you can actually see it... The next clip after, this is what happens, just keep calm and it will pass.... literally. But look at the Ferrari in front manages to move over and POV doesn't do this and creates this entire "problem" he has, hesitation is the fault here. The next one if you can't see that coming a mile away, then you haven't learned anything, why is he on full attack when the car in front is on it's course to the wall? if I didn't know better I would think he was a rookie, in multiclass.... then there are the send's from a different postcode and there is just nothing to do there, that is 100% faster classes fault, this happens in any other race too multiclass or not... I get 100% what you are saying, all drivers of LMP2 or LMDH have driven the GT3, but GT3 drivers are hesitant to try the faster car, for some reason.... My SR is around 4 and IR is 1.8... I have time for 2-3 races a week, and approx 2-3 hours of practice in total. last weekend i had 8 total incident points over 3 races, mostly tracklimits..... it's not speed ability, it's mental ability to set aside driver ego and assist overtakes, that be if you are slower class or not, the blue flag goes both ways, there are often two too an incident therefore there are two that can avoid it... But I have had it with GT3 blaming everyone else when half of the incidences is their own fault, of your 7 clips 5 of them can be solved with a GT3 driver that knows how to handle the traffic (also the opposite), both your incidents are right down to not doing that... the second one that small hesitation is what starts it, here the LMP2 should have applied max brake cause that screams rookie driver...anything can happen, wait for the straight, but what amount of time would it cost you to move the car over faster with intent instead of being afraid or nervous?....LMP2 if he didn't hit you, not justifying that in any way, still his responsibility to make a safe pass, but he would lose half to full second, now who is the biggest loser here in time? when going in a faster class and you hit traffic in the wrong place twice on this track is easy 2 seconds lost, sometimes the GT3 doesn't have the skill to give room for the faster car, that's how it is driving the faster class, you racepace is in the hands of the slower cars... It has been said a Million times, be predictable, be decisive and don't go to the collision with the attitude of a toddler it's my line, you don't finish races this way. The best racing drivers are humble, take that to the track virtual or not...

Hear me out. License gets you into the series, IR gets you into different cars. That's a great idea. Open setup races - IR / SR dictates what cars you drive Fixed setup races - SR is the only barrier to drive cars. There should be a better license system as well to allow you to drive types of cars as well. -GT Car -Prototype Car -Open Wheel etc
