Of the four takeoff patterns from LaGuardia, this take off towards the West- Northwest is my favorite. You fly over the point where the boroughs of Queens, Bronx and Manhattan come together. You get a nice lengthwise view of practically all of Manhattan Island. You then cross over the Hudson River into the space above Northern New Jersey.
I love the view you get with this takeoff pattern one of the best
