Unfortunately, this Benvolio doesn't really have a character... in the original one, this role was played by a charismatic actor, Grégori Baquet who was an equal friend of Mercutio and Romeo... the original trio complemented each other, they have a chemistry but here I can see that Mercutio is very charismatic, Romeo is fine, but Benvolio just disappears next to them... the original version was the best one, any other versions are just copy..

Franchement la version de 2001 était la meilleure (j'ai été curieuse de voir ce que donnais cette chanson en version 2010) Grégory Baquet y met tellement plus de puissance et d'émotion c'est incomparable. Et pourquoi danse-t-il avec la mort dans cette version seuls les personnage qui meurent ou vont mourir ont un réel contact avec la mort, comme Roméo, Tybalt, Juliette et Mercutio ils ont tous eu un contact physique avec la représentation de la mort mais Benvolio est désespéré il ne meurt pas ! Dans la version de 2001 la mort ne le touche jamais et c'est bien plus logique. Après avoir regardé la version de 2001 il est très difficile d'apprécier celle-ci que ce soit au niveau du chant ou de la représentation XD

The actor who does Benvolio is Cyril Niccolai, he's superb, expressive, sensitive with a magic pure voice. But his rendition's different, his role's absolutely tragic due the author's altered concept and the emphasis on Mercutio' death
