I think this movie is more like Ralphie taking Christmas and using that as a way to pay tribute to the old man who always made Christmas amazing

So much heart and substance to this movie. I hope we can look forward to seeing its tv broadcast premiere

That was back then when moms actually spoke to each other. It was like the 40s was a mom snitch fest. “You might not know but your child did this the other day “ “what?!”

I remember a meme that basically says “ the one person ralphie didn’t ask us the one who got him his dream gift” or something along those lines

I’m pretty sure this movie could never be remade without backlash. To avoid backlash, they’d have to cut the BB gun plot and that’s the thing that drives the story

Except this sequel works

With Dan Akroyd, I feel we should have gotten a funny blues brothers callback

With parents like Nora and Luther, you wonder how Blair still left for the peace corps with her sanity

Nostalgia Critic joked in his review that John Grisham decided to make us afraid of Christmas

They did the callbacks really well but I will say this. I liked the original Mrs Parker. She was tough, no nonsense but this movie’s Mrs Parker didn’t seem to carry that fire that Melinda Dillon did

This was entertaining 🤣 I’ve been loving all the reactions for this random cartoon me and my brother were able to remember from our childhood. To clarify my notes about the two vhs tapes; they both came together as a collection and we still have both tapes. Both tapes even for the time were super cheap and short, maybe only holding barely an hours worth of tape each. The first tape only had the chucklewood cartoons, the second had “gift of light” & “trolls express”. I didn’t bother uploading the tape containing the chucklewoods because I saw they had already been uploaded on TH-cam in higher quality, and I wasn’t sure if those were still under copyright somewhere because it was part of a larger series. So I only uploaded tape that contained the lost cartoon

This is one of my favorite Christmas movies. Glad you guys got to talk about it.

I don’t know what this show is but… I found it, and I love the last Boy Scout (thinking about satan clause all day 😆) so…checkin it out!
