Hi I've just spotted this video while looking for a stove for my 1930 semi living room, the control is impressive for a DEFRA model, it's slumbering away nicely are you pleased with it? I was looking for a wood only stove, it's not easy, so much choice, do you only burn wood?

These Tinkerbells turn out to be huge in 7 1/4 inch! I am building a Peckett style loco which will be much smaller due to it being standard gauge.

Now that Is an engine I would love in my narrow boat I can’t understand why people need four-cylinder engines whenone cylinder or two is quite capable of doing the job and for more pleasing to listen to I hope you can put it to good use I would love to hear This engine under load possibly with a large propeller in a boat of some time cheers Derek

My engine was restored during lock down and I'm 14 there quite a blast to restore my one didn't start on the first few swings either

He remembers me the enthusiasm i had when my father bought me an aero-modellistic motor : 1,5 cc , diesel type ... now i'm old ( they say ) but i still remember how much i was happy. Nowadays, i use to play with electronics and mechanics ( after a life of hard working in hospitals as a techician on electronic equipments ) and, when i ( rarely ! ) get some good result ( as i wanted carry out ), then ... i become again as the boy in the video ...

Remember Mick, when you took my lad round the track twice, and you got stuck on the grade twice, getting a little further up the bank each time? Then when you ley my lad have a go, I think he was about 8 back then, he got around in one go! Obviously the engines had cleaned the track a little more each time but there was still quite a bit of leg pulling! Harmony was Blue back then with the Stephenson valve gear. Ian Couzens,

I rode the route from Cromford to Beyond Parsley Hay last week. This film is brilliant, thank you. Is is such a shame that the line closed (with the loss of many livelihoods) but, I have to say, that without that loss we would not have such a fantastic resource today
