here’s my THREE take a note planners for 2025 all set up and ready for the year! sorry about the light being weird, i wanted to use the natural light but the afternoon sun can get really aggressive. also a little rusty at talking through things but hopefully it is helpful! let me know if you have questions about anything.

I love your planning style! I’m in a Cousin this year and I’m loving it so far. Will the LPD cover fit in the traditional Hobo cover?
aw thanks! i'm glad you're loving your Cousin so far. it is a great planner! i'm not sure because i've only ever had a moterm cover but i would guess it may be a little tight. the owner of LPD is pretty responsive so she may know for sure!
i was hanging out with a friend who has the hobonichi covers and I tested it out! if you really try it might fit, but it would definitely take a little finagling and would probably scrunch up the top and bottoms of the LPD cover a bit. probably not the best clear cover if you're looking to put it inside the traditional Hobo cover!
@@a_week_in_the_life Thank you!! I’m planning to move my Cousin into a TN cover next quarter, so I’ll probably hold off on getting the LPD cover until then.

I have been using the Avec books since the beginning of my hobonichi journey, I couldn't imagine carrying the full year since my Avec books get heavy enough.
haha that makes sense! I used the avec version for 2020 when I first tried hobonichi but I realized that I like having the whole year in one place and not having to do a whole planner set up again mid way through the year.
@@a_week_in_the_life yeah maybe it's that I have been used to using academic start planners, they were the only planners I used up until 2019
that makes sense! i switched from academic to full year because i ended up with an 18 month planner in college haha

Where do you find your sloth stickers
The sloth on the cover is from a shop called Slothspirations but it looks like she took down her Etsy. You can still find her account on instagram, though!

thank you for watching! i'll be sure to do a little update about the back pages in my next video. the shift/change in what i do on the pages is pretty gradual since i've had a planner with extra back pages for quite a few years now! :)

hi Irene! the tabs on the weekly spread came from The Style Planner and the tabs on the daily pages (with the little face on them) came from The Coffee Monsterz Co!

This is my first year in the cousin and I didn’t realize that midori A5 covers came in different sizes, so the one I intended for the full year cousin is too small and makes the spine arc, but it fits the Hobonichi A5 TRP note books (and the avec) just right. I believe I’ve since figured out that I need the midori codex A5 cover to fit the cousin. It’s okay for now because I have it in the Hobonichi reflect cover, but I do want the option to take it out. Really enjoyed this set up video! I’m also excited to see your full year of cleaning/toiletries/maintenance tracker.
thanks for watching! i had no idea there were different size midori covers either. i've heard of people using a hair dryer to warm up the cover to fit the full year cousin, but I understand not wanting to put any strain on the spine so makes sense that there's a cover that'll fit the thicker book better!

haha thank you!! i thought about recreating it... but it felt wasteful to use all the stickers from the kits just for my kit trackers lmao. so i figured inserting a photo of the page was good enough.

hi! i can think about how to do this well! in the meantime, a lot of my washi comes from Simply Gilded and The Coffee Monsterz Co. i alos try to do more detailed tagging of shops on my IG page :)

I’m transitioning from the A6 original to a cousin for 2022 and I usually use my dailies as todos/timeline recording, which is often a full page. Since I’ll have the weeklies in the cousin for half of that, I really like the idea that you use the same day of the month for different types of categories. I think I could still make that work while keeping my daily todos. Thanks for sharing! I also enjoyed the notion overview - I also have “use it up” trackers, but it’s not digitized or organized, really 😆

I ended up ordering a full year for 2022... we'll see how it goes! I think I'll be stamping a little more to keep the chunk a little more manageable.

I love this planner. I have one beginning next year. I have been trying to find peoople that use the Weeks kits in their Cousin. It means that I can buy some Weeks kits that have the days sideways and not up and down.
yes, i really like using different kits too. washi tape helps for the vertical date covers, but kits for the weeks planner monthly view are all horizantal too!

I am using the hobonichi for the first time this year and I love it. I have the full year since I want the whole year in one book. I used to bullet journal and ended up with several books each year and since I keep them it just became too many.
yeah, i think i'm a fan of holding onto one book per year too!

I've looked into it! There are a lot of things I like about the layout, but I need a full Saturday & Sunday.
ive had both versions on the cousin & personally i prefer the avec, because the full version can get pretty heavy- plus there's just something nice about starting a fresh planner in the middle of the year.

If you're referring to the year at a glance one, I tracked a different thing in each column. So there's cycle, workouts, hair washing, hours slept, mood, stress level, if I used a different planner, and no spend! I then had a little color coding for the hours slept/mood/stress level columns, so that's the colors that you see! The Tombow swatch charts came from www.tombowusa.com/tips-techniques-projects/product-usage-guides.html & I just printed it on sticker paper!
