I put one of these in the fairing of my '15 Kawasaki Versys 1000. You use the factory horn wire to TRIGGER the relay coil. I ran a fused red and black 12 gauge wire directly from the bike battery to the relay and horn eliminating the horns load off the factory harness. Mine worked very well. I did the same thing on my ATV also. The dual tone European air horn sound gets their attention.

Yah you'll use it on the highway and some asshole will get all furious because he thought it was a truck and when he saw it was an itty bitty 500 pound bike he'll try to run you off the road. I used to ride in Mass. Drivers around Boston are permanently psychotically insanely angry. I've had people swing nun chucks, bats, and even a sword at me on my bike.

I just got my very first handicapped parking placard yesterday. The woman who parked in the handicapped loading bay in front of my local 7-11 store yesterday was very lucky I am a passenger of the vehicles I am getting rides with otherwise I would have happily dinged her door with my walker

Nice job! Personally I would have bit the bullet and drilled/machined a hole through the top clamp. If you chamfer it properly it won't become a stress riser.

Thank you so much for this video , I've been trying for ages to fit my mic into my GoPro on my flip up helmet and I'd not thought of doing it this way, I was trying to mount the mic in the flip up lid and it just didn't fit properly , I didn't think to run around the back of the helmet and using my bluetooth mic stalk to hold my camera mic, thanks so much , you're a legend , I'm also using a Purple Panda mic .
