    Something I have wondered about Hanukkah. We Christians celebrate Christmas, which is celebrating the day Jesus was born. MOST of us know that it was not the ACTUAL day Jesus was born, but we ARE celebrating Jesus' Birthday, which IS important, as He is the ONLY way to Heaven. It seems like ~ to ME ~ that Hanukkah is the celebration of a miracle ~ a THING ~ rather than The Miracle Giver, God. What is your view on this?

    by signing the last word, Echad, as many that change into one, are you not giving credibility to the Christian concept of a trinity, a Pitchon Peh to the messianic ""jews"" to say that many changes into one, is the same as the Trinity becomes one??

    • @ronaldstewart3467
      @ronaldstewart3467 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You miss the whole point, God is ONE. All throughout the Bible, Jesus is God manifest in the flesh. That's what made them so mad to crucify Him, He said I and my Father are ONE. Before Abraham was, I AM. One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism, One God and Father of us all. Paul said this same Jesus whom you crucified could not be killed, He is the Prince of Life. Solomon said in 8:7 "Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it: if a man would give all the substance of his house for love, it would utterly be contemned." The council of Nicea in 325 AD created the trinity and tried to destroy the Shema but He cannot be divided or Killed ! Jesus Christ is the Premier of ALL Creation from the begginning! You MUST be born Again Jesus said in John 3:5 and he gave Peter the keys to share which he did in Acts 2:38. "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call." KJV.

      It’s a deep subject not easy to explain in one sentence, to a human mind! To a spiritual mind it’s not even up for debate! But let me attempt in human speak and hopefully I can by His Grace touch hearts (just a spark) that your Spirit will then come alive and explain it to you in ways I cannot! His signing is perfect - the best for both word and action I have seen! He added toes as well (in simpathy😊 if you want)! 1)By using 10 (ten) fingers the number of a minyan for us Jews - he is in essence agreeing that El is Echad! 2)Elohim the title of God from B’resheet is many (ie it can be said “many” El)! 3) We know Elohim revealed himself different to our Patriarchs (Avraham, Yitz’ach and Ya’akov) yet to Moshe for the first time he shares his personal - eternal name! “וָאֵרָ֗א אֶל־אַבְרָהָ֛ם אֶל־יִצְחָ֥ק וְאֶֽל־יַעֲקֹ֖ב בְּאֵ֣ל שַׁדָּ֑י וּשְׁמִ֣י יְהוָ֔ה לֹ֥א נוֹדַ֖עְתִּי לָהֶֽם׃” ‮‮שמות‬ ו:‭3‬ תנ״ך ומודרני‬ “I appeared to Avraham, Yitz’chak and Ya‘akov as El Shaddai, although I did not make myself known to them by my name, Yud-Heh-Vav-Heh [ADONAI or HaShem].” ‭‭Sh'mot (Exo)‬ ‭6‬:‭3‬ So how do we know he is the same Elohim! By making it clear in the most important prayer for us Jews that he is One! - Echad! In fact by his explanation he revealed something very profound to me! That the Name of Elohim is higher the word “God!” But in essence the best revelation of the extent of his otherness (outside of all things, time included). ie calling him God is limiting him - but we can call him Eloheinu - Our powerful One! (our One&Only)! 4)We know one can mean many things to many people! All those are conveyed in One! One can mean singular, singularity, unique, only, no other, none other, GOAT, the ultimate…!, il Supremo!… Echad encompasses all those! So by using 10 visible fingers the fringes of tzitzet of a human being - he is saying all of those are in Echad! 5)In Judaism generally we agree that G-d has many names! Generally 7 are in agreement but in Kabbalah for example the view Sh’mot 14:19-21 to contain 70+2 (72) names of G-d! So again the question of which name, which G-d comes into play therefore Echad is your answer! 6)We also know G-d is limitless ie ein sof (in Kabbalah) without limits! This maybe conveyed by Elohim! But we agree that G-d is many powered or all powerful! - how powerful! ALL! So again whilst God is one how many people would it take our world to be a bus driver, pilot, nuclear physicist, Doctor (medical), President, singer, Accountant, Lawyer, Teacher….Father! Many right! Yet God is all of these! - so we say Echad! 7)Lastly I would strongly advise as a brother and in honour of the greatest mitzvot …..to love my brother as myself…” which is you know is the flip side the Sh’ma! (or the Tablet) - read the Brit Chadasha (which the Christians call the New Testament) even if you don’t believe it’s part of the Bible! - read as it were a Talmud or a great book from one of our esteemed Rabbis (Rashi, Rambam etc) and see for yourself! The proof of the pudding! Tehillim 34:9 [8]” Taste and see…! Don’t let the trinity stuff, the persecution by the church of the Jews, or their doctrine affect you! Read it as a Jew - from the TaNaKh first into the Brit Hadasha and you will see 80% of the Brit Hadasha is literally from the TaNaKh- if not all! Jesus is not the wrong name of the his name in the TaNaKh is Yeshua, immediately that departure tells you why Christianity is infested with the yeast of error (of the Adversary of G-d) just like on the far right we have in Judaism rabbinical practice steeped in just law and trying to climb a ladder - to our own “god” yet we know our G-d introduced himself by His Name to the Jews to Moshe and he called him friend and to Avraham! - so we are friends or children of Him - how can it be so impossible to have a million rules for Shabbat including how to tear a toilet paper! So both sides - the Christmas carols and the nitpick Jews will be judged according to their rules - let’s see if they will pass their own litmus test! The yoke that YaH Hoshia YaH [is] Salvation provides is much better he gave us water in the wilderness from the Rock and he has become our Salvation (yeshuah!). “יְהוָ֤ה ׀ סַֽלְעִ֥י וּמְצוּדָתִ֗י וּמְפַ֫לְטִ֥י אֵלִ֣י צ֭וּרִי אֶֽחֱסֶה־בּ֑וֹ מָֽגִנִּ֥י וְקֶֽרֶן־יִ֝שְׁעִ֗י מִשְׂגַּבִּֽי׃” ‮‮תהלים‬ יח:‭3‬ תנ״ך ומודרני‬ ““HaShem is my Rock, my fortress and deliverer, my God, my Rock, in whom I find shelter, my shield, the power that saves (hoshia) me, my stronghold.” ‭‭Tehillim (Psa)‬ ‭18‬:‭3‬ ‭‬‬ “I, even I, am HaShem; and apart from Me there is no Moshi'a.” ‭‭Yeshayah‬ ‭43‬:‭11‬ ‭ “אָנֹכִ֥י אָנֹכִ֖י יְהוָ֑ה וְאֵ֥ין מִבַּלְעָדַ֖י מוֹשִֽׁיעַ׃” ‮‮ישעיה‬ מג:‭11‬ תנ״ך ומודרני‬ /isa.43.11.תנ״ך ומודרני A NOTE for Christians reading this: You know this: “come out of her my people!” If you are true Yisra’el you would not follow the sticky mess playing out with those that call themselves they follow the Elohim of Yisra’el! If Yisra’el cannot even recognise what you worship if they come visit your congregation how can you say your G-d is the same G-d of Avraham, G-d of Yitz’ach , G-d of Ya’akov! Even Yeshua would not recognise your rock entertainment and smoke machine in services! And p.s. He don’t need to doctrine to explained Him - if an uneducated old lady in rural Africa, China, India, South America can understand and relate to him - why have some so called doctrine! - any doctrine means that’s false or human mind try to explain that which only the Ruach (Spirit) can explain to you in your heart! Come back to your father’s to the Jews and learn from them, maybe only maybe they will shema you as the voice and light on a lamppost not hidden then together you can walk as brothers (Efrayim and Y’udah) united in our G-d! Eloheinu! (ps do avoid falling into their errant yeast, their ways (rabbinical) are very attractive but watch out - remain on the narrow path avoid the mass explanations or beliefs). Shalom Aleikhem! Shabbat Shalom (it was end of my Shabbat today when I conceived this and now Shavua Tov). 🙏🔥🙌🏾
