Thank you soooooo much for sharing, that was beauty beyond any words. And let me tell ya, "a warm place" is not at all an easy piece just to perfect and play on piano I guarantee you that. Trent Reznor is an underrated musical genius and that's a fact. My hat is off to this piano player and thank you x1000 for selecting this beautiful melody. I...... love this song, like I've never loved any other song in my life....it is timeless, it is it's very own category. It actually tears me up to hear it. We as early teens would get baked and put this song on loop to play through out the night. It is brilliant and should be played in symphonies, with violens and chellos! That would sound awsome. "A warm place" has been kept hidden away and most people even NIN fans never really let the CD play close to the end where it lay dormant on track no.16 I still remember, that was close to 30 years ago.

The middle of the song a warm place seems to have lower pitched bass notes

I've had the NIN Downward Spiral CD since it came out. Of course, I only listened to the songs I knew on the CD back then, never the entire CD. In June 2020, this song came on during a random sampling from my cell phone while I was working in my workshop. I instantly fell in love with it. It's been on a loop for over a week. I bet I've listened to it 10,000 times! This cover is absolutely amazing!
