I've had this phone for a couple of months now and I have done about four factory resets because the Google assistant is not working like it does on my other 4Android devices. When saying hey Google or OK Google it sometimes work and then most of the time doesn't work. I have been on two hmd support and they are not very good. They say you need to send it for repair. I've gone through all the troubleshooting steps and the problem is still there. One of the major culprits I think is in the settings menu it has a tab called memory. If you clear or boost the system cache this seems to affect the Google assistant operating by voice. I do believe that hmd need to address this software issue they have that is not talking to Google. Any advice would be appreciated

WHy would a phone have an option for ram expansion without installing any hardware? And if this so great, why not just have it at the default? Now, if it is using a SD card as Ram, the video should say so and also say how slow that would be.
