Did you watch it all the way through? It plugs into the existing light housing, there’s no extra wiring necessary.

Yeah you can. That’s what I originally did to mine at first until I got the modal works turbo muffler delete. The quality hands down the best for the w204.

@@hyperbull8450 that was what I originally did before I bought the modal works turbo muffler delete. It did last all the way up until I replaced it with the turbo muffler delete from modal works. I can’t remember how long though, possibly 6 month’s.

@@hyperbull8450 I did I didn’t notice a much maybe a little more turbo sound not much and it drives just fine

Modal works makes all their parts in house with proven numbers to show gains big or small. Or just to improve air flow to the turbo to help with boost. Follow them in IG, they’re always posting and they’ll have no problem answering questions about any of their products. This was just my experience with them and I haven’t had any issues when I had their parts on my Benz.

@@204andco I've heard some stories of people having engine issues with Hyundai/Kia as early as 11k miles.

@@guidedbygreen1480 oh okay, everyone that I’ve talked too that’s had this Santa Cruz hasn’t had any major issues like that. Most of the issues have been covered under recalls. One of the big ones was a wiring harness with the tow hitch. But I don’t have that one mine so it’s one less worry for me.

Don't want to end up in a situation is all. You go to a Hyundai/Kia dealership and all they do is engine swaps/warranty work, it's all I'm going to say.

What I noticed is that the car ran smoother, and I got a little better gas mileage out of it. As far as the engine flush that’s not something you have to do every single time you do an oil change. It does help the longevity of the car and it’s engine components

@@204andco I'm only planing my next oil change and instead of 5w40 I'm was thinking to go for 0w40 If i dont get any oil consumption which what I'm afraid off i might go for shell what's Pennzoil in the states or maybe castrol

@@easyrider020 you should only change the viscosity of the oil depending on the climate you live in. Changing mine to 5w40 worked best for me because I live in the desert and it gets pretty hot during the summer. I’d either stick with liqui moly or what is used from factory, Mobil 1. Personally I’ve never used pennzoil or castrol. I used royal purple when I had a lot of JDM cars.

@@204andco i live in west Europe in the Netherlands i know in some climates it's mandatory when it comes to viscosity of the oil engine But what i also know it's always good a 0x weight for the chain it lubricates faster bit safe

No it cant, the bed extender needs to come out in order to use the storage. It’s super easy to take the extender out though

To my knowledge it lasts longer then regular oil but all depends on how much you drive, how spirited the drive is how often you do oil changes.

You add the engine flush in before you do the oil change, Yes. You just let it idle for a specific amount of time then drain everything and put fresh oil in. It helps the longevity of the engine.

Yeah usually I do 5.8. But you never want to overfill it.

Yeah I don’t know why they didn’t mention it in the instructions, that’s kind of necessary so you get proper water flow for the foam canon.

I haven’t had any issues with them and have had them on for over a year. No issues with rain or any other elements from driving.

So far I haven’t had any issues with them and no squeak at all. When you used aftermarket pads did you use any stop squeak so it’s not causing any noise issues?

@@204andco I had to redo the brake job and went with oem pads i already had new oem rotors sitting around, I believe that in the aftermanrket ones the back cover on the pad wore off causing squeaking also the braking performance was pour

@@monsieur420 the one thing I’ve noticed with this car is that it has pretty good performance from factory.

@@vsaucygod5518 the performance and quality from oem are outstanding. When i baught the car 4 years ago brakes where already good and did not need brakes till a few months so just show how long they lost put over 50k on car with old pads and rotors

@@204andco truly informative. That’s the same manufacturer and type of oil I use as my cars require 229.3/5 approvals. I’ll try combining with ceratec next time.

@@204andco I agree, I’ve been using it on my cars since 2017 and it’s worked wonders. I’m now trying their gasoline injector cleaner product as my vehicles are 7 and 8 years old.

@@hsl2208 I would definitely say that along with upgrading other components like the control arms, sway bar end links and suspension will help with any body roll issues too
