Bridging Research and Patient Engagement: Insights from CDTRP
CDTRP is a Pan-Canadian Research Network supporting Canadian researchers. CDTRP Research Services wants to maximize the effectiveness of research in donation and transplantation. TheCDTRP collaborates with investigators at every stage of their research and provides services on grant development, project management, patient, family, and donor partnership, knowledge mobilization, events, and trainee support.
Dr. Dmitry Rozenberg is a Pulmonologist at the University Health Network and affiliated with the Ajmera Multi-Organ Transplant Program in Toronto, Canada.
Sandra Holdsworth's healthcare journey and dedication to co-design was truly launched when she received a liver transplant in 1997. For the last decade, Sandra has been actively engaged with the Canadian DonationTransplant Research Program (CDTRP) as a patient partner co-lead on the Quality-of-LifeTheme. Sandra has been a patient partner on several research projects, has completed peer reviews, co-authored position papers, and has been a co-applicant on published research projects.
Jia Lin is a Clinical Research Project Coordinator working alongside Dr. SamanthaAnthony, a Health Clinician Scientist, in the Child Health Evaluative Sciences program atThe Hospital for Sick Children.
Carmen Carriere, proud Michif woman and a citizen of Métis Nation British Columbia, received her Bachelor of Arts in History and her Bachelor of Education from theUniversity of British Columbia, while she more recently completed the IndigenousWomen in Community Leadership (IWCL) program with the Coady Institute at St. Francis Xavier University.
