4x4 Response UK is a charitable organisation made up of volunteers who commit their own time and 4x4 vehicles to provide assistance to local authorities, emergency services, NHS Trusts and so much more in times of need.
Teams can also be called out by any Cat1 or Cat2 responders as defined by the Civil Contingencies Act 2004, and by voluntary agencies with whom they have an agreement.
4x4 Response UK is the national governing body overseeing over 30 local 4x4 Response teams. 4x4 Response teams spread the length and depth of the UK.
