HaHa.....Yeah, that was an Amusing show Here & did enjoy the 3 Celebrity Couples Featured...BTW, of the 3 here, Had to "Jab" my Memory Banks to remember the 1st 1...Rona Barret & her Husband..She was a "Gossip" columnist from Back in the day & was quite entertaining in her Field..She passed away last year...( May she RIP) Anyways, this episode was good & as Usual, Charlie Brill & his "Better Half" Mitzi McCall were there good natured selves..1 last thing, the amount of money that they "won" for their sections of the audience was...well...Not Much...(LOL)!!! Otherwise...a good show!

Sam ad libbed grabbing Peg’s tush. Which made the scene so much funnier. I just wish Al had followed through and punched Sam for doing so before saying he wanted to live. Sam would have gone with it cause he was definitely a comedian who thought the laugh was all that mattered.

Ok Now,...As Usual, a Very Interesting & Detailed Look into the Life & Times of DVP...From His early days In NY..( My TOWN) to his Life in L.A., 1 can see that He along with his Family Made the Most of what was Going Down.....Enjoyed a Lot his Love of the Race Track & How he was truly a "Fan" of that sport...Taking into account his "addiction" to Betting, it could have been the Better of Him But He Manage to "Conquer His Demons" & that's what's Important...His Meeting & Association with the Jackson Family along with his Family, was quite a Story In Itself..Glad to Know that DVP's sons as well as the Jackson Brothers ALL Became the Best of Friends.. It was Touching to Learn that Michael J. had developed a Good Relationship with DVP's wife...Pat & that was Good....ANYWAYS, to make A LONG story short..(?)..another interesting chapter dealing in the "world" of DVP....His Life was 1 worth Living!!!!!!!! ********

I enjoyed this book. I grew up watching Dick Van Patten, but his life in show biz was so well connected and expansive that the book showcases so much about American entertainment. Enjoyable read. All the best to his family. He seemed such a good man.

BUT...Jump also appeared on TWO episodes of The Brady Bunch in 1970 - once as a thrift store worker who may or may not have Marcia's diary with her notes on Desi Arnaz, Jr., and the second time as a mechanic who Greg visits to find his dad's lost plans.... Oh, those Bradys and their lost plans!! (Oh yeah, Jump was also in the creepiest Very Special Ep of all time - Diff'rent Strokes! Yikes!)
