I liked E3 because it had so many publishers consolidate all their future releases into one easy to watch conference. And E3 was independent from publishers, so all the big publishers had to try their best to stand out. But nowadays all publishers just make their own conference, it seems too curated now. I liked how silly some parts of E3 were! It really is an end to an era.

Uhm... In retrospect, E3 was a lot more important than we gave it credit for, it was an arena for companies to actually compete with each other, now the Big 3 seem perfectly contempt not* competing against each other, and everything has grown stale as a result.

It's things like E3 that the modern day gaming industry does not need. You pay a couple of jerk-off nerds to write a puff piece about your game, then a whole bunch of unpaid nerds will do free marketing for you.

My main thing is it doesn’t need to keep expanding it could’ve just ended at the dead kids haunting the animatronics and getting revenge on the killer. After that it just felt pointless and killed the intrigue of it all

I feel like the biggest problem with these new shows that are trying to replace E3 like Summer Games Fest is that there's never anything THAT exciting announced at these events. Also, everything just gets leaked now. What made E3 so special was they had reveals at their shows that were worth getting hyped for, not to mention you never knew what was going to get announced as this was before leaking culture. Now a days, any big game announcement is usually just leaked ahead of time, and in these shows like Summer Games Fest and State of Plays, 90% of it's just these random haug pauge of games that I've never heard of and don't really look that exciting. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying these games don't deserve to be announced at these shows, but have a big/exciting announcement in there as well to compliment these smaller scale game announcements, and these shows usually never do.

Underrated Channel honestly also as someone who went to E3 2018 I can perfectly say that it was an overpriced award show and advertisement bait place also you had to pay to get in and pay for a seat and pay for an entrance fee to go into some of these game showings and back in I think 2007 or 2008 whenever the first Naruto Ultimate Storm Trailer released the E3 showing my Tio attended said it smelled like the people didn't shower or he calls them musty now and there was spilled drinks on the floor where he sat and people talking over the trailer so safe to say its better for people at home to just watch these trailers then to deal with those problems

Yes. As the gameplay is primitive and atrocious, i was under the belief that the story would elevate the franchise to some degree. Instead, i am subjected to an convoluted, uncompelling train wreck. Every, insignificant detail is needlessly fleshed out, which results in the story being overly complicated, while logic is... Thrown out the window. Multitudes of plotholes too, which, for some reason, are treated as "super secret details" by the fans, and they are willing to fight for thier lives in this "FNAF lore war" over this writing. Every game introduces something to make the story more complex and macabre, of which a part of is the result of justifying that they can't generate an antagonist so they bring the same one back, garbage writing galore. If i had to pick a candidate which matches this level of writing, it would be My Little Pony Generation 5. And I'm immensely sorry if you understand why i compared it to that. Naturally, this my subjective opinion.

This is why I bought Xbox Series S instead of PS5. Atleast XBox has GamePass where I can experience their old and new exclusive games. Unlike in PS5 where in no solid exclusives yet besides Spiderman 2 and FF7 Rebirth, not to mention that most of their releases are remastered version of their PS4 Games. Wanted to experience something new at the same time I still want to be updated to the 3rd party games. I am PS Guy btw since my last gen console is PS4 and it's still pretty solid to me.

For me...every game that are lower thant 50 bucks I buy the american version....but for games above that I just import it from Japan only to have the physical game and I just burn a "non conventional" american version....well you understad this last part...Xenosaga por example I've got the first one in English....Xenosaga Episode II and III I got them in Japanese

I used to buy NES games for $3.99 each (equivalent to around $7.38 after inflation). Now those same games are going for $20+. And that’s just the loose games. CiB games have become absolutely ridiculous after 2020. I used to be a game collector but the absurd price gouging has seen me setting out on the high seas instead.

Ghost of Tsushima had a pretty great one. $160 for a replica samurai war mask, cloth map, silk wrap, as well as the digital collectibles from previous editions. Good price and good value.
