Street dogs and stolen pets in Asia, particularly China are captured, thrown into small cages, killed and slaughtered in very many inhumane ways they are tortured until they die, then used for human consumption. They see each dog go through this and know what what is about to happen when it is their turn, words cannot express how dreadful this all is. Twister has done well as a street dog to live so long, so sad that he had to live with pain and a disability. He is happy now, thanks to you.

When I spent some time in Kerala, India, years ago, the dog catchers used to kill the dogs by strangling them with a wire. It was too horrific! Thank you for your wonderful, deeply touching videos! And, yes, the dogs on earth really are Angels! - that certainly is my experience. And you, Mr Grillo, are definitely an angel to those dogs! Thank you for who you are and for what you do! You were amazing funding and bringing the dogs from Afghanistan, Bandit, Chaos and Maxine. Maxine is in great condition especially at 15 years old, so loved and well cared for. She has a lovely face, what a beautiful dog....that would be the breed for me, so loveable. Thank you Leo once again, another great background story.

If you want more people to watch, make more but shorter videos/clips. Very often, people do not have time to watch 40 minutes videos. 10 - 15 min would be best.

Chase knows he is in a safe environment now thanks to your organisation Leo. What people do to dogs to present them as mean natured is so wrong. He is a teddy bear really, and would act like one if people hadn't been so cruel and nasty to him to make him react in a frightening manner. Thanks again for another great story including your own therapy dog 'Happy' who makes you happier and reduces your blood pressure.

You are the best!

Thank you Leo once again, what a story did these dogs have to tell through you. Being rescued from Afghanistan was your first step then travelling through other countries and reaching your sanctuary after a few more steps to safety was to be their final destination. As usual from you they receive excellent love and kindness, top medical treatment and a happy life until age and cancer pops up its ugly head. You did your best and more, for them all, and you can see the genuine love you have for all the dogs you save and care for, they were lucky to have known you and we are lucky to be able to hear your stories of their rescues and life with you. Thank you!

These guys did an amazing job of negotiating these animals out of Afghan. I’m in awe! Don’t think much to the captain over there that said to ‘shoot the dog’🤨!! Or the vet that wanted to euthanise as the better alternative 😠 Humans can be horribly cruel & vile, their actions despicable

Lovely Lucas, sad when they age and their partners do to so sadly one dies first, he must miss Emma, but is still plodding along. Has one of Emma toys stayed with him, or a blanket she lay on so he still has her smell for comfort during his last year? Love the choice of names, Spot just had to have that name, and the fact that Wolverine got better without surgery is a blessing. They love that house, glad you went in to see how cool it was. Your long term vet is just so kind, experienced and knowledgeable....worth his weight in gold. The story of Buck in that area, and able to jump fences just shows how nice it is for the dogs to be there. Thank you once again Leo for a great video. You can always secure a latch to secure the door to a fence to keep them safe and air conditioned.

What a cutie she is! She loved splashing and digging in the pool, she will have fun on a daily basis with the water I think. Lovely shaded enclosure, sad that the other dog had cancer and died but Angel appreciates his space.

leo, i'm new to your site but just wanted to thank you for all you do to help animals. we need more safe places with the caoacity of yours if we want to stop the euth of healthy homeless animals. these 2 obv love you!!! you must have alot of hel wish i could volunteer but i'm on east coast
