@@Indra-z8c I don't see how that's possible. I saw an Awakening Guardian completely ignore the Commander mechanic and just widdle him down for 1 minute head one. Even she made 31k. My husband on Awakening Corsair has way less AP than me, and also makes 34k. :)

@@Indra-z8c So long as you still have over 1000 total base AP without Black Spirit Rage, it shouldn't be a struggle at least. You have 15 seconds to kill a wave and as long as you kill the Commander in 30 seconds, it seems, you should break 30k. Oh, and keep in mind that we use Agris here in case you forgot it.

When I am pushing for personal bests, yes. For casual grind, no, or for spots where I feel it makes no difference. My rationale was that it may allow me to kill the Commander 1 damage tick earlier for the first half and thus win 10 seconds of grind in the end. :) The truth is that this was my 2nd full hour at the spot. So no idea if it did something.

I base my combos on cold hard calculations, nothing else. :)

Once I realized that there is an alternative version of Contular that exposes the chest rather than removing the cloak, I needed to get it. Haven't taken it off since. :) It's just the most amazing outfit. In this video here I use the Exclatus talisman (from Awakening) Keraunos is my default talisman otherwise. I don't have shudad. :(

Yes, the T5 Alpha and the rest T4 with one of them being a flying pet (which is the optimized way) though I doubt T4 pets are necessary at all at Gyfin, since it's such a stationary spot.

Awakening can pull similar results, it just requires more thinking with your movement rotation. The reason Succession is so good here is because Riftchain allows perfect pin-point positioning, which matters a lot here. Awakening's movement is always a fix distance, so you need to rehears much more to get it streamlined.

No, not at Star's End, because the AP cap is only 70%, and they actually improved the AP caps there some months ago by increasing Monster DR (means AP becomes stronger) Demihuman Lightstones are a worthy contender vs. All-Out-Attack, but AOA was always better in my tests, and more consistent.

There is a fix pattern to it, and it is the same for each spider. When you begin your hour by attacking the big monster - the first leg that becomes red is your orientation, it is your middle leg. The pattern is always middle>left>right>middle>long reset phase>middle and so on.

Neither of them can compete with top DSR classes, because they are lacking the damage. In the case of Succession, his pack to pack movement is also the slowest of all classes alongside Shai, so it doesn't exactly help. Awakening has better movement, but he also has a good deal of summon damage, which just doesn't take well to back attacks, as you know.

Outside of Marni isn't really grindable for me, because I would have to wait a minute for the respawn. Marni is the only place where monsters respawn quickly enough to make a good rotation. Even in Marni, they sometimes respawn too slowly if I go too quickly.

In Yzrahid, Awakening and Succession are equal. They can pull the same trash/h. In other endgame spots Awakening is better though.

Awakening Sage is very good at one phasing the leg. Most classes can do this now depending on gear. Some need less to do it, others more.

I am on the european server. Low damage is usually a matter of setup and rotation. For example you need the crystals of darkness for back attack damage instead of corrupted crystals. And you need to figure out the best possible rotation for your class.

@@F3Masry You don't have 5 Deboreka, or? Before Deboreka pieces were a thing I also had a terrible performance here. Succ Sage needs a lot of gear to work. Even I could still use more to make it more reliable.

I get this notion below nearly every video, and I can just say that it always looks faster in footage than it really is. Because it feels dreadfully sluggish in reality.

I tried it for the first time yesterday and it was a nightmare on Succ Sage. I will have to try more and see if I can make it good, but I really hate the spot...
