Berlin Backing Tracks
Germany
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 5 พ.ค. 2020
We are a fresh music channel from Jazz Enthusiasts from Berlin.
The original purpose was to share backing tracks for Jazz Standards with practising Jazz musicians.
However when we had the first backing tracks ready we decided to also make an example recording for every track. :-)
Please let us know your feedback and especially any standards you would like to see.

It don`t mean a thing backing track (Bb / Gm)
In this new series of backing tracks we decided to focus a bit on the "gypsy jazz" style - also known as "jazz manouche" as made famous by the incredible Django Reinhardt.
Key: Bb (1st chord: Gm)
Today we cover the spirited "It Don't Mean a Thing (If It Ain't Got That Swing)", a 1931 composition by Duke Ellington with lyrics by Irving Mills. The title alludes to the "sentiment which prevailed among jazz musicians at the time", according to Ellington. It is great fun to play this fast and - of course - full of swing!
The band:
* Guitar (Right) - Anatole Schmidt
* Guitar (Left) - Jan Lietz
* Bass - Stefan Herzig
Key: Bb (1st chord: Gm)
